UFC Fight Night 31: Bermudez Faces Siler

Steven Siler

Despite losing original opponent Nik Lentz to UFC on FOX 9, Dennis Bermudez will stay busy by facing Steven Siler. UFC officials announced the new pairing earlier today.

Siler heads into the bout after improving to 5-1 in the Octagon by crushing former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown at UFC Fight Night 26. The Pit Elevated product has won two straight since losing to Darren Elkins at UFC 154. Siler will look to wreck Bermudez’s four fight win streak when they face off in Kentucky.

The UFC’s third “Fight for the Troops” event will take place at the home of the legendary 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Headlining UFC Fight Night 31 will be a middleweight matchup between Lyoto Machida and United States Army Special Forces sniper Tim Kennedy. The fight card will air live on November 6 via FOX Sports 1, with the preliminary card likely landing on Facebook.
