UFC 94 Draws 14,885 Attendees For $4.29 Million Live Gate

UFC 94 attracted a crowd of 14,885 to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on January 31st for the anticipated rematch between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and current lightweight title-holder BJ Penn.
The capacity crowd generated a live gate of $4,290,020 according to figures today released to MMAFrenzy.com by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The figure currently ranks as the sixth best haul in the promotion’s history.
13,622 tickets were sold for the event while an additional 1,263 were comped.
St-Pierre defeated Penn via fourth-round TKO in the evening’s main event.

Highest paid attendance by gross sales is Liddell v. Ortiz II at just under $5.4 mil.
