The Ultimate Fighter 18 – Episode 1 Recap

The Ulimate Fighter 18: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate kicked off tonight on FOX Sports 1 following UFC Fight Night 28. This season will feature 16 men’s and 16 women’s bantamweights living together in The Ultimate Fighter house for the first time in the show’s history. The show will see the winning preliminary fighters split into two teams coached this season by UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. Tune in each week as the fighters vie for a six-figure UFC contract.

Fight Selection:

Rousey won the toss earlier and chose to pick the first fight, and after a quick deliberation with her coaching staff she decides to go #1 vs. #1 and Shayna Baszler take on Julianna Pena in the first fight.
