UFC Fight Night 17 Weigh-In Results

All twenty fighters scheduled to participate tomorrow evening at UFC Fight Night 17 hit the scales this afternoon at the Marshall Student Center at the University of South Florida in Tampa to make their matchups official.
Lightweights Rich Clementi and Josh Neer failed to make weight, each missing the 156-pound non-title limit by just half a pound at their initial weigh-in, but were given an additional hour to shed the extra weight before they’d face a potential penalty. Both fighters made weight on their second attempts.
The remaining 18 fighters, including headliners Joe Lauzon (156) and Jeremy Stephens (156), successfully made weight on their first attempts.
UFC Fight Night 17 takes place tomorrow at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa and airs live on Spike TV.

I suspect Clementi will get it done, getting his weight down that is. I didn’t realize that Emerson was that small of a lightweight.
That last half pound can be brutal to burn off!
Just read that both fighters made weighed 156 on their 2nd try. It would suck to lose money over half a pound.

Yeah im actually lookin forward to see stojnic because he is supposed to be a really good kickboxer and if he can keep it on his feet and stay on the putside with his kicks he could get a pretty big upset. Also really lookin forward to the Johnson Fioravnti fight like everyone else.

emerson weighed in light but looked bigger than kurt hes taller aswell so he must be expecting a long fight and focussed on cardio IMO
Velasquez is an absolute beast, i expect a KO in that fight.
Rich Clementi deserves to be put on the main card and sugar Cain should be able to get the KO 1st or 2nd round.
