Lauzon was just a step behind throughout his fight with Michael Johnson and it was one of the worst beatings he has ever received. These fights have a tendency to put fighters at a crossroads and Lauzon may need some time to think over his next move, or he could try to move on quickly. Lauzon will always have a place with the UFC, and has essentially become the lightweight Chris Lytle. A pair of intriguing veteran pairings for Lauzon could be fights with Yves Edwards or even Takanori Gomi.
Hall seems to fight his best when he is in bad conditions. He thrived in The Ultimate Fighter house but outside of it that edge that made him a terrifying killer in the cage is missing. I like Hall, and he clearly has the skills to be great, but the problems he has all rest between his ears. A sports psychologist could help him out immensely, and I think that's the way to go for him. Fight wise, I think match-ups for him could be his original opponent, Nick Ring, or Alessio Sakara.
It always hurts to come so close to a goal bit fall short in the end. Alcantara is talented no doubt, but needs to work on some things to truly breakthrough that barrier to the belt. A bout with Vaughn Lee could allow him to take a step back. However a bout with Brad Pickett could also work here given the limited options in the division.
