    I’ve never been so excited for a fight. Both of these guys looked so intense at the weigh-in. I am a big fan of both and won’t be disappointed either way. Just hopin to see a war. I lean slightly toward GSP b/c of his size and conditioning but I’ll never count BJ completely out…..GSP UD

  • Chris L. says:

    am I seeing this right? both O’Brian and wellisch cut down to light heavyweight? considering they’re both former heavy’s that is rather interesting.

    Great card though I will be enjoying that card at the bar.

    • Yeah, I think everyone assumed when they booked two (now-former) heavyweights to fight it would be at heavyweight, but both fighters successfully made the cut down to light heavyweight, which has to be considered a positive.

      • Chris L. says:

        Yeah I know I was in that group. I believe that Jake should just from seeing him wrestle and knowing he is a smaller Heavy, lil more surprise Wellisch did. I cannot wait for the fights!

        Oh and Kris I got an iPod touch and I have to say the mobile stuff for the site is well done.

  • Jerod says:

    Dana and Jon Fitch surely did not show much affection towards each other.

    I’m so excited for this fight. I’m a huge BJ fan but I’ve been finding it nearly impossible to think of GSP as the villain. He is pure class. I won’t be dissappointed either way. Good stuff.

  • Nico says:

    Im glad to hear a BJ Fan not so cocky like the fighter. BJ has alot of crap to back up so he better at least not gas out like i think he will in the later rounds. My prediction is GSP Decision or a Submission in the later rounds (BJ won’t tap so expect referee stopage or a break). The only way i see BJ winning is with an early KO 1st or 2nd round maybe. I hope Thiago beats the crap out of Machida because Machida is just a boreing fighter with his defensive strategy. His fight with Tito was so boreing because he made it that way. Thiago bye TKO And the Guida/Nick fight i expect for Guida to Grind out a victory unless he gets caught in a submission but its safe to say i think that Nate needs to evolve as a fighter with more well rounded skills and this fight should show that with a fighter like Guida. Guida by decision.

    Here are my picks for UFC 94….but I might change 1 or 2 of them…

    Arroyo
    O’Brien
    Wilson v Howard (?)
    Tavares
    Fitch
    Bonnar
    Diaz v Guida (I’m not decided on who I think will win as of right not)
    Kim
    Silva (going for the upset, I’m a fan of Lyoto’s style too)

    BJ PENN

  • esopteradactyl says:

    cramer
    wellisch
    wilson
    gamburyan
    fitch
    bonnar
    guida
    parisyan
    silva
    GSP

    great card top to bottom

  • jeremy says:

    gsp will win this fight 3rd round arm bar!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bob says:

    GSP FIRST ROUND SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE HEAD
    FOR THE KNOCKED THE **** OUT KNOCK OUT OF THE NIGHT.

    GUIDA AND DIAZ FOR FIGHT OF THE NIGHT

    WILSON FOR SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT

  • chuck says:

    This is gonna be an all out war ! I do think BJ will try too hard early and end up gassing! George will pick him apart in the last three rounds! GSP by TKO 5th. If BJ wins I’m alright with that too…..but I dont think he’ll be able to keep up to George for 5 rounds.

  • aussie1232 says:

    Arroyo
    O’brien
    Wilson
    Tavares
    Fitch (the affro thing made me laugh hard)
    Bonnar
    Diaz
    Kim
    Machida
    GSP

    Really good card Im really looking forward to Diaz v guida
    and has there been any more news on karo ??

  • Jerod says:

    I’m love Clay Guida and I really dislike Nate Diaz but I am convinced that Nate will sink in a good enough triangle and that will be that. I hope I’m wrong.

  • fr702 says:

    See that’s my thing I want Guida to win, yet with the way he shoots in and how tall (comparitively speaking) Diaz is Guida is asking to get put in a triangle, perhaps he has worked on it I dunno…
    I don’t dislike Nate as much as Nick but he does annoy… Guida is a machine this can go either way (I know I’m being captain obvious) Guida by decision or Diaz by sub

  • ufcmanz says:

    Arroyo {By 1st round Submission}
    O’brien {By Unanimous Decision}
    Wilson {By Unanimous Decision}
    Gamburyan {By 2nd round TKO}
    Fitch {By 2nd round TKO} {after Fitch’s win he better be put back on the Main Card}
    Bonnar {By 3rd round KO}
    Guida {By Unanimous Decision}
    Parisyan {By Unanimous Decision} {I hope Karo doesn’t win but its just a feeling he will}
    Machida {By Unanimous Decision}
    GSP {By 4th round TKO} {Hope GSP wins because this way Contenders don’t have to wait for BJ to be ready and because Thiago Alves will destroy BJ in the stand up and BJ cann’t take him down, GSP Vs. Alves Sound way better}

    - In the GSP Vs BJ Penn Fight , if it stops early in the 1st or 2nd round BJ wins , by Submission or KO/TKO . If it stops in the 3rd or 4th or goes to the 5th round GSP wins the fight by Submission or KO/TKO or Decision

  • mmadabomb says:

  • JOHNBOY says:

    cant wait for this card, guna be some sick fights, im guna stay up and watch this card even tho im full of flu and just wana sleep, no way im not watching this live, go bj kick his fuking ass!!!

  • jiujitsuMAN says:

    i want to see bj get destroyed… not because i dislike him, i think hes a great fighter… but its because of all his smack talk, and his trainers smack talk… sure bj penn could smash most of GSP’s training partners, but lets see him take out rashad… bj trains with all american wrestlers, GSP trains with the canadian wrestling team and works them over… my fav part of bj’s training is his under water rock run, that is supposed to be o so anaerobic… too bad anaerobic exercise is more for power lifters than fighers, its good for short bursts of energy 2-3mins at most then your drained… so unless penn is able to finish it quickly he aint gonna have the stamina to weather the storm that is the RUSH

    GSP is gonna do some major damage, and unless BJ pulls out a nogeria and comes back from the dead he aint gonna win…
