Is Kid Yamamoto coming to the WEC? I really hope so….

  • fr702 says:

Really Kid is a very aggressive fighter and would be a great addition to the WEC, seriously Faber v Kid for the first PPV WEC event I would definately purchase that… Also Dana might be paying more attention to the internet then he says he does.. Anyways good blog and I can’t wait for Saturday, its a great card and I’m really looking forward to Guida v Diaz that has the potential to be a really good fight

    • justin says:

Me too, I hope Guida gets the win.

      • FR702 says:

I dont know, I want Guida to win yet there is a great possibility of him getting caught in a triangle because of his takedowns (well the way he shoots in, and how lanky Diaz is) it should be a hell of a fight either way, its either going to a decision (Guida) or a sub for Diaz i believe…

I just thought I would toss this out there but the live weigh-ins for tomorrow’s card are on DirecTV channel 101 tonight at 6:00 CST Live. There is also a countdown show (Not UFC Primetime) at 4:55 CST until 6. I have not seen this advertised anywhere and did not realize the weigh-ins would be on TV. I found it by searching the menu, otherwise I would not have known it was on. Channel 101 is a DirecTV-specific channel so i am not sure if it’s available through cable providers. Just thought I would pass this along if anybody would want to catch it.

“See that? no seat belt, and i got a cell phone in my hand!”

and a beer in your cup holder?

    • justin says:

My first thought was IBC Root Beer, due to the lack of a label, however, upon further investigation, I do believe it is either a Bud, or Bud Light. At least he was only driving across his neighborhood… but that’s not good… even in that short of distance.
