Fight Master: Bellator MMA will be changing nights as the show moves to the 11PM time slot on Spike TV’s Thursday lineup. The move will start this Thursday following TNA wrestling and continue for the duration of the season. Bellator MMA officials announced the move late Monday evening.
While no official reason was given for the move, the announcement comes after weeks of struggling ratings for the critically acclaimed MMA reality series in its 10PM Wednesday time slot. The show will hopefully receive a boost in ratings with the pro wrestling lead-in.
The show’s welterweight tournament will conclude on September 7 with a live finale at Bellator 98. The winner of the reality show will receive a $100,000 prize and entry into an upcoming Bellator tournament.
