Looks like alot of the pro’s are picking Penn to win… Nice to see Dana hanging out with Robbie Lawler I for one hope he can get out of his contract with ProElite….. Caol Uno knows how 11 seconds can feel personally, and Dana asking if Kid wanted to come to the WEC and fight, and Kid responded with YA….. I really want to see that fight Kid v The California Kid thats got title fight written all over it, perhaps WEC’s first PPV? If I wasnt there in person I would order that shhhhh forsure
there aren’t many wec cards i would pay for…..that being said, i would def throw down 45$ for kid vs faber
i want to see Robie the the UFC again too he is a bad ass!!!!! fo sho
kid vs faber would be a war!…..that would be a dream fight ive been waiting for kid to come to america and fight in one of the bigger orgs for a while
It looks like Lawler will be in the UFC as soon as he can get out from under ProElite, I’ll be happy when that happens.
Kid v. The California Kid… I hope it happens, and it looks like he’ll be signing.
A lot of guys picking BJ, but just because they fight doesn’t mean they know who’s going to win the fights… Saturday can’t get here soon enough.
Smaller fighters all picking BJ…. (With the exception of Lawlor)… I sense a little camaraderie there between em. Especially Pulver. lol.
Sorry, but I’d have to disagree with the lot of them.
Every aspect of GSP’s game is just a little bit better. (Stand-up, wrestling, ground-game.) He’s stronger, smarter and faster. I am tired of hearing BJ among others claim that GSP doesn’t like getting hit and therefor is not a true warrior.
BJ needs to be shut up, return to 155 and defend his own belt against Florian, a deserving foe who should have had a title shot before BJ got to fight for two titles, IMHO.
GSP by 3rd round ref stoppage, while he grounds and pounds the crap out of a gassed BJ Penn.

To hear all of these pros pick BJ sure makes the fight even more intense. Damn I’m even getting nervous … by the way … are there any other fights on this card?? lol

I think when you have two fighters who are just so good most of the time the fight goes to a descision.
Penn vs Pulver 1
Liddell vs Silva
Jackson vs Griffin
Ortiz vs Griffin
Sylvia vs Arlovski 3
CroCop vs Fedor
Pulver vs Faber 1
Penn vs GSP 1
Although there are a lot of exceptions this still happens a lot of the time when people think that it is going to get finished.
gsp by sub in the 4th or the 5th just to prove he can beat you anywhere and no im not saying hes got better subs then penn but look at shogun vs forrest penn will be so gassed by the forth n 5th he gets subbed
