Did I miss something? Why is Madigan replacing Hazelett?
No solid details on Hazelett’s injury, but here’s what MMA Weekly’s reporting:
“Dustin Hazelett has been forced out of his bout against Ben Saunders due to an injury sustained in training. Ryan “The Lion” Madigan has been tapped as a replacement for Hazelett, and according to sources close to the fighter he has signed the bout agreement to face Saunders in his UFC debut.”
I do not enjoy this news, I was seriously looking forward to Saunders v McLovin (I know he doesnt go by that nickname anylonger but damnit Im going to continue to call him that), that fight was one that had it alot of possibilities for a great fight, but now “The Lion” will get his shot at getting kneed til something large grows out of his forehead, damnit owell
Ya why isnt McLovin going to get his vicous jitz on against Ben?
I like the Luis Cane – Steve Cantwell matchup. Aside from Al-Hassan, I like that Dana is giving tough tests immidiately to the WEC castoffs such as Sonnen and Cantwell. No freebies.
And word on the street is BJ and GSP are fighting sometime toward the end of this month. Man I can’t wait for that one.
