Jonathan Goulet and Ronnys Torres have been forced to withdraw from their upcoming UFC bouts due to injuries.
Goulet, who was slated to take on Tamdan McCrory at UFC 97 in April, failed to be medically cleared for the bout due to a knee injury suffered in his December loss to Mike Swick.
Surgery for a serious knee injury will sideline the UFC newcomer Torres for up to six months, forcing him out of his scheduled debut against Melvin Guillard at UFC Fight Night 18 on April 1st.

Wow. For once, it’s not his glass jaw that’s keeping Goulet from winning a fight. Amazing.
Hi, Justin.
Sucks for McCrory…I mean Goulet. I suppose he’ll be needing surgery now as well as Torres. When I first saw this story, I thought it mean Miguel Torres, glad that was not the case. Well, at least they have a few months to find replacements, shouldn’t be hard.
I thought the same thing about Miguel Torres with the headline.
Willy,
Nice avatar Daniel son.
Oh for heavens sake not Jonathan Goulet!!! Too bad McCrory won’t get a highlight reel knockout. Damn i love seeing Goulet and his reptile eyes get knocked out
Goulet isn’t going to fight, this is a really sad day for us fans, I cannot think of a proper replacement for the great Goulet
Gabe Ruediger!
