UFC 93 “Franklin vs. Henderson” Weigh In Results
Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson
All of tomorrow nights UFC 93 combatants met their respective weight requirements earlier today during the official weigh-in ceremony, which took place inside The O2 Dublin Arena in Dublin, Ireland at 11 a.m. ET.
Former middleweights Dan Henderson and Rich Franklin both came in well under the 205lb light-heavyweight limit, with Henderson tipping the scales at a trim 202lbs and Franklin coming in just a pound heavier at 203lbs. Mark “The Hammer” Coleman also made weight successfully for the first time in his 13 year mixed martial arts career, clocking in at 206lbs, which is perfectly acceptable for the non-title light-heavyweight contest against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, who checked in at an even 205lbs. Welcome back FrenZy, I’m looking forward to tomorrow, Franklin v Hendo is a wonderful fight and could go many different ways.
Yeah, Eric came through big time in getting the weigh-in results up but I’m still without internet and cable and there’s no telling when I’ll get them back, though I’m hopeful it’ll be back before the event tomorrow. Anyone want me to post an open thread for sharing news and such til we’re back?
That might not be a bad idea. Are you working from your phone now? And that sucks that your tv and cable are down. Is it wrather related or other reasons?

This is a good card.. But im not going to pay for it.. Dont think its worth it… Figure ill get UFC 94 and Affliction instead cant seem to justify paying for three fights this month.. damn ZUFFA

Friends house for the fights tomorrow, and if that falls through (probably) I will order 93.. Aflliction ehhhh haven’t made up my mind and would much rather “waste” money and try and find a way to grab some tickets to the WEC yet I’m not sure on that possibility….

Wow it’s amazing Martin Kampmann drops from Middle weight division which is 185 and then he comes into a welter weight fight at 168 shows what his natural weight class is then

Kampmann is probably ideal at welterweight, it really isn’t a terribly difficult cut for him. In an interview the other day he actually said that he sometimes gets closer to lightweight during training, but I think 170 is a solid home for a guy his size.
Remeber when it was a “matter of time” before Drew McFedres ko’d him, then Kampmann pulled off one of the sickest triangles eva,Fing EVA, that’s when “I became a fan” of Kampmann… He took an asssswhoopin and put Drew to mimi’s, can’t wait to see his debut @ WW
One thing about this, if he is getting close go LW during training, he’s probably getting close to his max cut weight. I would think being a smaller fighter makes it harder to cut weight than being at say 205.
