Talented Boxer Holly Holm (33-2-3 boxing, 3-0 MMA) has signed an exclusive multi-fight with Legacy Fighting Championships. MMAFighting first reported the deal on Wednesday, with Legacy officials confirming the move last night.
The talented striker will compete at bantamweight and debut for the Texas-based promotion at Legacy FC 21. Holm last competed in MMA at Bellator 91, where she blasted Katie Merrill with brutal strikes until the referee called a stop to the fight in the second. The Team Jackson-Winklejohn product has won all three of her MMA fights with brutal kickboxing technique.
While the deal with the promotion is exclusive, Legacy FC president Mick Maynard was adamant that the company would not stand in her way if the UFC approached her.
Holm was notably absent from The Ultimate Fighter 18 tryouts due to her boxing obligations. The talented fighter has already shown she has a ton of potential as an MMA fighter early in her career, and will be one to watch in the WMMA ranks.
