UFC and Stikeforce vet Mike Kyle got back on the winning track at last nights’ Championship Fighting Alliance card in Coral Gables, Florida, as he stopped the well travelled Travis Wiuff with punches in just 21 seconds. Kyle was competing for the first time since January, when he was submitted by Gegard Mousasi at the final Strikeforce event. The 33 year-old fighter is 2-2 with 1 no contest in his last five bouts.
Wiuff, meanwhile, has lost four straight fights, after going 13-1 with 1 no contest in 15 bouts prior. The no contest result stemmed from his first meeting with Kyle at a King of the Cage event in 2010. Wiuff was unable to continue in that fight when he was struck after the second round bell.
CFA 11 also featured the third pro fight of transgender fighter Fallon Fox, who tapped out Allana Jones with a third round, modified north-south choke. With the win, Fox extended her record to 3-0 while Jones saw her’s fall to 2-2.
