MMA prospect Holly Holm (3-0 MMA, 33-2-3 boxing) concluded her illustrious boxing career this past Saturday night with a unanimous decision over Mary McGee in New Mexico. The three-division world champion will now transition into MMA full time.
Holm is one of the more talented women’s fighters in the world. The fighter last fought in MMA earlier this year at Bellator 91, where she crushed Katie Merrill via strikes in the second round.
The “Preacher’s Daughter” will have no shortage of options as she moves forward in her MMA career. Holm is a far from one-dimensional striker, as her boxing skills are matched by her crushing kicks. The Jackson’s MMA fighter will look to continue to round out her all-round game as she considers her options with various promotions.
