‘Road to GLORY’ Heads to Milwaukee

GLORY Sports International (GSI) has announced an eight-man lightweight (154lbs.) tournament for May 11 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The GLORY World Series parent company will take to the historic Rave Eagles Club Grand Ballroom for their Road to GLORY USA tournament in an effort to identify the best kickboxing talent in the region.

The tournament will be put on in association with famous trainer Duke Roufus’, and business partner Scott Joffe, promotion North American Fighting Championship (NAFC) “Knockout Kings” show.

The winner of the eight-man tournament will be awarded $20,000 and a multi-year contract with the premier kickboxing organization. The tournament will include Cyrus Washington of Saginaw, MI; Shidokan Karate, boxing and Muay Thai expert Muhsin Corbbrey (pictured) of Tulsa, OK; Muay Thai champion Michael Mananquil of San Bruno, CA; battle-tested striking sensation Jose Palacios of Fremont, CA; rising star Jameel Massouh of Milwaukee; kickboxing star and police officer Dustin Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA; national and North American Muay Thai champion Ben Yelle of Marquette, MI; and six-time kickboxing and Muay Thai champion Troy Sheridan of Stouffville, Ontario, Canada.

Fighters Gustavo Rodriguez and Jon Henderson will square off in a lightweight bout that will decide the reserve slot in the case that one of the tournament fighters is injured.
