Bobby Lashley and Hector Lombard Sign One-Fight Deals To Compete at PFC 13 on February 6th
Bobby Lashley (1-0), Hector Lombard (18-2-1), and Alexis Vila (4-0) have each signed a one-fight contract with Palace Fighting Championships and will debut with the promotion on February 6th at PFC 13 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California.
A former professional wrestler and three-time amateur wrestling champion, Lashley successfully made his MMA debut on December 13th with an impressive 41-second TKO of Joshua Franklin at Mixed Fighting Alliance “There Will Be Blood” in Miami. A Cuban Olympic judo competitor, Lombard is undefeated in his last eleven bouts and signed with EliteXC but never competed for the promotion before it folded in late-2008. Vila is a bronze medal winning Cuban Olympic wrestler who remains undefeated in professional competition, most-recently dispatching Ian Wolf in just 35-seconds at the December MFA event.
PFC has also announced that Erin Toughill, who appeared as “Steel” on the second season of American Gladiators, will be in action at the event against Adrienna Jenkins.

Lashley fighting here in the Valley and I wont even be around to go, that kinda sucks i wouldnt mind seeing him fight in person, just to see how he is @ MMA
Looking forward to seeing more action from Lashley, maybe the fight will last longer this time, or not get stopped by a cut. I would like to really see what he’s got.
That’s wild about a second female fighter being on American Gladiators. She’s got a decent record, I bet Gina’s success and fame is what drew her out of retirement.
Yea he looked good in his debut man but who knows how that fight would have turned out cause in the wonderfull world of mma anything can happen.
Hector has some heavy hands man his record is good but he really hasnt beat any body big yet but only big fighters have beaten him and he’s never been finished.
(information sherdog)
lashley looks like a monster! i still have not seen his 1st fight yet. his wrestling is good, If his striking gets good watch out! He should go2 xtreme couture! tompkins would help garunteed.
My personal top ten
Fedor
Mir
Big Nog
Barnett
Arlovski
Lesnar
Couture
Kongo
Overeem
GG/CC
That’s what I think as of January 5,2009
But Barnett beat up some bubba 8 months ago at a t-shirt conference! He has to be higher!
Hahaha nice but no, I’m pretty comfortable with my “rankings” but whateva
lombards pretty well rounded saw his last few in sydney, australia, he dominated in the acf but didnt show any massive knockout power, good ground game though
Well thanks for that info, I think Lashley is giving up a lot here in experience (obviously) but doesn’t seem as tho he is taking the easy way out if you will

If you look for his fight video you will be able to see what kind of shape he is in. Certain people have already started clamoring for Lesnar v. Lashley…the ones that call Brock a paper champ that is.
First, that’s a loaded question, looking for confrontation.
Second, I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily proven that he’s the best, but he has a tremendous amount of potential. All that being said, I still wouldn’t call him a “paper champ” and based on the fact that he won when he got a title shot, I won’t say that he didn’t deserve it.
Its hard to say who’s the best untill they all fght.
The best HW in the UFC is Big Nog imo, now i know he just got blasted in the face by Mir and may have lost a step but over all the “best” is Big Nog… Up and Comers well thats different story yet if the best in the world is Fedor i believe that the 2nd Best in the world is still Big Nog we shall see tho thats just how i feel about the situation, bring the argument..
I heard Big Nog had a staf infection for his Mir fight.
So when Lesnar and Lashley fight, will it be a “falls count anywhere”, or a tables match? But seriously, that would be a HUGE fight!
