Interim UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira put his title on the line in the evening’s co-main event against former champion Frank Mir and light heavyweights Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Wanderlei Silva squared off for the third time in UFC 92’s other featured matchups.

Funny thing about this card is anyone from the top 4 fights card win your not a genius if you get them all right and your not stupid if you get them all wrong, thats just how competitive this card is No ones a big favorite in any fight.

we need more p.r. for smaller fighting events, but if they come up, everyone is blasting them, how cheezy or how unprofessional they are.
ppl should cut some slack to those smaller venues, cuz it really tix me off how dan is runnig this show.
i really feel bad for all the flack Kimbo had to go thru for trying to make it in this sport.

They cannot seriously be showing rampage vs silva before the dolloway vs massenzio fight. who cares about that fight, this is the most ridiculous order ive ever seen on a card.
Im a bit shocked too. But I guess its to keep people wanting more by spreading the goods over the night instead of the last 3 fights.

Mir was supreme! I still think an ever evolving Lesnar beats him, but still amazing card. Both Nog and Silva showed their age and past battles might have caught up with them. Who does Kongo fight next? Jardine? Nog? Dos Santos?

Ok first of all a great night of fights, the ko of Wanderlei suprised me to say the least cheers to the people that picked Rampage… Then even more suprising was the Mir victory, who thought Mir would like that… When I first saw it I thought perhaps an early stoppage but after seeing the replay I believe it was justified…
Rashad cheers man way to take punishment and comeback and win strongly… All and all I endend up I believe 6~4 but it is what it is… Wanderlei and Griffin will be back forsure

Both Forrest and Rashad are paper champ I doubt Rashad will have 1 successful title defense either. Especially if he has to face Rampage.
That supposed crotch shot from Al Turk to Kongo was BS!!!!!! I just watched it frame by frame on my DVR and that was NOT in the groin. It gave Kongo a chance to rest and for Kongo to retaliate with an obviously intentional crotch shot was just plain wrong. Also, did anyone else notice the two shots Rampage gave Silva after the ref was trying to pull him off? Great fights though.

oooo yeah i told ou guys i was gonna take over the mmafrenzy league ….i say we rename it the gunslinger league……….but anywyas man i was yelling so loud and screaming yess so much when rashad finished forrest……man im so glad rampage won that was an awesome left hook wandy is still out cold from that probably….rampage is back…..Sugar vs Rampage- black on black crime for the title baby!…..i was happy with every fight result except for dean lister he should have won but anyways that does help because if okami cant fimish off dean then he cant get close to beating silva and Nog i think nog could have kept going he always recovers from that kind of stuff but anyways mir > lesnar and Long Live King Rashad!

Dang, I ended up 4-6 on my picks, but still 4th for the league with 133 points.
Forrest was out of it pretty much the whole time that fight was on the ground, it was just a matter of time at that point. I did not see the Rampage KO coming, but nicely done for him. Nog v. Mir…I’m still in disbelief from Mir’s total dominance, and not happy that that jerk won. I hope Lesnar beats the crap out of him. Especially after that comment about wanting to break something on Lesnar.

The good news for the slow starting Rashad is his next fight will be five rounds, the bad news is it will probably be against a man that will put him to sleep if he starts slow (Rampage).

I’m so happy Rashad won! I knew Forrest wasn’t a real champion, anyone who gets ko’d by the dean of mean doesn’t deserve to be champ! Rampage will mess him up 2nd time around. Rashad vs Rampage should be a good match too. Or Rashad vs machida/thiago. So many possibilities!
Can’t wait for Lesnar/Mir 2. Lesnar keeps it standing he dominates. Cheick vs Nog would be a good fight for Nog to get backon track. He just hasn’t looked that impressive since joining the UFC. And i swear the guy is closer to 40 years old.
Machida is the best light heavyweight fighter in the world. He’s prolly gonna end up fighting rampage down the road but if he beats silva impressively then he could be next in line.
I dont see rampage koing rashad if they do fight…rashad’s chin is amazing and his hand speed is unbelivable i couldnt see half the punchs he was throwing it was crazy…rashad’s style i thunk might be able to beat machida’s because rashads style is kinda like machidas but only more agressive with it…..I think rashad would beat rampage…I just think rashad would be to fast for him and long live greg jackson!
Rashad = Win. Quite underestimating him! But i do think Rampage has a good chance to regain his belt against him. I just hope Rashad can knock off machida. I can’t stand that guy. Go Thiago Goo!
machida’s style really could make him vulnerable to thiago’s hands. but i think he’ll win. i won’t underestimate rashad, but i think we all knew forrest’s reign would be short-lived.
gunslinger, no disrespect but what on earth have u seen to think evans is too fast for machida? that is rediculous. Machida has stifle much better fighters than rashad. much notibly tito and rich franklin. And as far as their styles being the same, wow, u could not be further from the truth. rshad is a wrestler and a boxer and machida is all ab karate and ju-jitsu.

Great Great card. Some upsets, Mir looked really good, like he was never hurt from the wreck good. Rashad is going to be a good champion and hard to beat. Forrest was winning on my card till getting caught with a shot so I would like to see a rematch. Rampage well he had the KO of the night with that left hook. Looked focused and back on track. I thought the overall card was solid and I for one am glad they didn’t air the Lister/Okami snooze fest.

Honestly, I think if Rashad had a chance to fight Tito again he’d win. That whole fight I was yelling at the tv for him to press the action, and for whatever reason he fought too cautiously. I think he learned from that, and has become a better fighter because of it.
I think Rashad would gain a decision over Machida.
What the hell do all you guys have to say bout “SUGAR” now? Oh yeah… Nothin exactly. Rampage is the *uckin man enough said… and Mir won like i said he would not by Sub, but a K.O. is better anyway.

are you dumb chris i said rashad is faster than rampage not machida…wow read before you talk next time please and actually watch forrest vs rashad again….I did not mean there backgrounds i meant there styles…….machida likes to get one or two good shots then get out…rashad likes to throw a combo or a combo and a leg kick and then get out…sound similar? yes!…….Of course they come from different bases…karate and wrestling but there styles are similar but rashad is more aggresive and more powerful and his hand speed is unmatched by anyone in the lhw division and thats the truth…thats not just my opinion that is fact i know he has the fastest hands in the lhw division
Time for Lyoto Machita to get a shot at the title against Rashad Evans. Make Rampage fight another contender before he gets a title shot and then go from there. It would be a good sell of two undefeated fighters, both not use to pressing the issue, but great counter punchers. Put Jackson against Brandon Vera, Forest against Jardine and Liddel against Wanderlei. Tito will be ready for a fight with Liddel after Affliction folds after this next card.
