Overeem vs. Hari Rounds Out Fields Dynamite!

Talk about an ironic match up. According to Alistair Overeem’s official website, the Dutch “Demolition Man” will face off against K-1 bad boy Badr Hari at the upcoming “Fields Dynamite” New Years Eve show.
Overeem (40-24 MMA, 2-2 kickboxing) most recently fought to a no-contest against Mirko Cro Cop, who was forced to quit after sustaining repeated knees to the groin. Overeem had stated that the low blows were unintentional, but Cro Cop nonetheless had to deal with an injured testicle which had been forced “up inside him.”
Former K-1 heavyweight champion Badr Hari (0-1 MMA, 78-8 kickboxing) is coming off of a rather disgraceful performance at the K-1 World Grand Prix finals, where he was disqualified after punching and stomping downed opponent Remy Bonjasky. K-1 has since stripped Hari of his heavyweight title and withheld his total fight purse.
“Fields Dynamite” is set to feature both K-1 kickboxing and MMA rules bouts, and even for the casual fight fan is looking like a must see event.

That is a really good event, some big names high profile fights it is a good way for the Japanese to end their year.. With four of the world top LW’s fighting in one night that’s pretty exciting too, o and that bullshhhit WAMMA title is up for grabs but seriously I could care less… I seriously like this event I’m going to have to catch it somehow, cheers
I am surprised Hari is back at it so soon after his suspension, he is a very talented guy though.
This event is loaded with amazing strikers and is a must see for fans who like the best of the best in striking. I dont see some of these MMA bouts going to the ground as most of these guys are seasoned K1 fighters.
WICKED fight !!! Overeem and hari will make for a brutal ending either way . This whole card is decent . maybe CBS should let K-1 do a few shows on primetime . Another fight I’d like to see is manhoef vs Cung . two different styles of K-1 going at it .didnt Cung do some k-1 already though ? I remember the ISKA stuff and his sanshou …. just cant remember
Definitely looks like a great card. I wish I had HDNet to watch these fights, I’ll have to find some other way.
Dang, I never noticed Overeem’s record before. Thats a LOT of fights in todays MMA world.
