Tim Boetsch
Light heavyweight Tim Boetsch has re-signed with the UFC, inking a new four-fight deal with the promotion according to MMA Weekly.
A veteran of the IFL, Boetsch made his UFC debut on short notice at UFC 81 in February, dismantling David Heath with strikes in the opening round. Following a TKO loss to Matt Hamill at UFC Fight Night 13 in April, Boetsch rebounded to score a first-round TKO of Mike Patt at UFC 88 in September.
Boetsch will return to action in March against an opponent to-be-determined.

Boetsch is a performer, he did gass in Colorado but when he dropped Heath on his face in his debut that was classic Boetsch v Bader asap

Glad to see they re-inked Boetsch, he’s a decent fighter with a lot of scrap, and a bit unorthodox. Until he proves a little more he could be a good gatekeeper, like Chris Leben, or he could move up through the ranks. Time will tell. Him gassing in Colorado had a lot to do with the Altitude, he said he was in great shape, and felt really good about his cardio, but he trains on the east coast, when he got up there to Denver the thin air just zapped him.
