Josh Burkman will next be fighting at UFC 77 in Cincinnati according to a MySpace bulletin issued by the fighter.

Burkman, a former amateur wrestler, appeared on the second season of The Ultimate Fighter. He made his official UFC debut on the finale of the series defeating Sam Morgan by KO. “The Peoples Warrior” won his next fight over Drew Fickett by submission but was handed his 3rd career loss by Jon Fitch in his next bout. Burkman rebounded and defeated Josh Neer at UFC 61 and Chad Reiner at UFC Fight Night 8 to earn a match against welterweight contender Karo Parisyan. Parisyan defeated Burkman by unanimous decision at UFC 71 in May.

Outside of fighting Burkman has made headlines for dating UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste.
