Ya I saw that too, also I like how he stated when Hassan gets better he is more than welcome to come train with him in Vegas.. Which was hilarious when Penn said it to Sherk, but not too funny in this instance

Sorry to bring up a dead post, but this is actually relevant. Found this quote from Steve Cantwell.

“You know that was a really weird outcome to the fight. I had the arm locked in tightly and expected Razak to tap right away – then we rolled twice and it got even tighter. I was thinking to myself ‘This guy is made of rubber – this is crazy’. The only thing I could to end the fight was force the arm until either it broke or he tapped, and that’s what I did. Fighting is always a series of calculated risks, and he had ample opportunity to tap. But none of us enter the ring trying to end each others career, and I do regret the comments I made and being so animated about it afterwards. It was the adrenalin taking over."

I own Penn's book and can vouch that it's really good. I haven't been to the book store in a while to check out the new releases but I should soon, seems like there's been some good books released this year.

Dietrich,
Thanks for that on the books. I looked over BJs book recently, and it looked very well laid out, though not exactly what I'm looking/needing at this point.

@Justin,
The "complete guide"is a great motivator for training I would read all the intro stuff and make my decision about training then...Minotauro's book is worth checking out only if you were considering it anyway...The bookstore just gives you that try before you buy...Kind of like a test drive.

For everyone
Saulo's Book Jiu-Jitsu University is probably the best laid out BJJ book I have seen... If you are buying 1 BJJ book that would be it but get it on sale
($39.95 is a little steep)
B.J. Penn still has the best MMA book if you are limited by space and cash...

As for Eddie Bravo...
He is one of those people that you define with their own name..."Dana is Dana..." I like the the guy and I think he's made a fairly lucid arguement for all his positions...Do I agree with his stance on...Botany...No

Just my 2 cents
Have a great weekend every body
and remember if you want to save the auto industry
Tell someone with a broken tail light to fix their car...:)
