I also get frustrated when someone says a fighter is the p4p when they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the ear. I think I’m making progress. You’re right Justin, whenever the topic comes up I’ll just ignore it. Cause all I’ll do is get pissed off say something stupid…it’s a vicious cycle. Gentlemen, I look forward to our next counseling session, next time I hope we can focus on gun’s anger management and/or Justin’s desire to be first. So basically what I’m sayin is…j/k

BTW, everyone knows who the real P4P is anyway, so it’s not worth discussing…

So, what you’re saying is, you’re from the department of redundancy department, and some times you say the same thing more than once?

But seriously, you’re right it is just speculation, but it gives us something to do. If you’re not interested in the p4p discussions, you don’t have to get involved. The subject has come up around here quite a bit lately, so I can see how you would be tired of reading about it, especially with how much we’ve talked about it recently .

Where the hell did the p4p come from? Not to be a d**k but I don’t understand the discussion over it when it will never be solved. Back in the day when they had tournaments then you had p4p. I really don’t get it. It’s all about who’s the best in a weight class. Anything else is pure speculation. There are so many factors how can anyone be considered p4p when they will never fight. You’ll never see Torres v Fedor. BJ wants to be the p4p but anyone with a title can start to claim it. Nothing will ever be proven though. I just don’t understand why the thorough discussion. Kinda like I don’t understand why I insist on saying the same thing over and over just in different terms.
