can’t wait to see rob fight again im a fan of the guy, i loved that knock out of manny.

and am i reading that right???? tim vs shamrock???? that is a fukin joke

  • RyanMoney says:

haha, i know John. Ken vs Sylvia is a joke. Well I think they wanted it to happen, im just saying its stupid lol.

    Yea I like Emerson.

Not too impressed with the BJ Penn show. I have a lot of respect for the guy as a fighter, but come on, Pound for Pound the best? Since getting his cardio back, he has beaten a small Jens, a “not so ready for the big time” Joe daddy and Sherk who was coming from a big layoff. P4P? hmmmm.

Plus he is a total ass in the lead up to a fight. GSP on the other hand, what a stud! lol

  • fr702 says:

    Hicks is a beast

These Quick Hits are awesome Kris I know I’ve said it before but good job cheers

  • fr702 says:

Thx I respond that message via CrackBerry yet I don’t know if it went through

  • bsbiz says:

Timmy better watch out. He could be arrested for gross abuse of a corpse if he gets in the ring/cage with Ken Shamrock.

  • surfingk5 says:

I don’t care how dumb BJ’s show is…I love blondes. The blonder, the dumber, the bigger the … hands. I love blondes.

  • justin says:

    fr,
If by responded to that message you mean the personal messenger thing…I didn’t get it yet.

  • fr702 says:

Ya that’s what I meant I don’t think it went thru via CrackBerry but that’s all I have rightnow no worries thx

And yet, that list is more impressive than Fedor’s recent opponents…

  • RyanMoney says:

I was’nt comparing to Fedor. I was talking about BJ.

  • dbiz says:

I know you didn’t, but you listed them to say he couldn’t even dream of being p4p the best. And yet….most people will say Fedor is, despite having had fewer quality fights than a first grade bully on the playground (at least recently).

  • gunslinger says:

I still cant decide who i like better for the P4P status fedor or silva

If fedor beats arlovski though i will be 100% for fedor though

If arlovski gives him a tough time or beats him i gotta go with anderson….also depends on who anderson fights next to

  • RyanMoney says:

I see what you are saying Biz.

I didn’t mean it as if they were losers. Those 3 are great fighters, but if by beating all 3 of them makes you p4p then jeez. I just wanna see him with some more fights before he can consider himself p4p. I saw on the vid and read in interviews how he classes himself as p4p and while I wont take anything away from the guy, I just don’t see him as p4p.

I agree with Gun about the Fedor p4p status. I would def like to see him with some better opponents tho.

  • dbiz says:

gun, Torres may give both of them a run for their money…especially since he was beating welters and middles in unsanctioned fights.

  • gunslinger says:

dbiz, this is true…the P4P status is very confusing at this time…There is alot of deserving canidates and alot of people have good solid reasons for being #1

I mean you gout BJ,GSP,Fedor,Silva,Nog,Forrest,Faber(b4 his loss)…its really shaky….And i knw ill get flamed for this beyond belief but id say lyoto machida isnt far from a bid in there himself(he has fought at alot of different weight classes and hasnt lost)…just wait till lyoto finishes thiago silva!

  • bsbiz says:

I don’t think you’re far off. He needs to win a title before he enters the conversation for real. He is good, but he needs to win something first.

  • Justin says:

Lyoto has potential, but he has got to get a title first, like bsbiz said.

  • surfingk5 says:

Where the hell did the p4p come from? Not to be a d**k but I don’t understand the discussion over it when it will never be solved. Back in the day when they had tournaments then you had p4p. I really don’t get it. It’s all about who’s the best in a weight class. Anything else is pure speculation. There are so many factors how can anyone be considered p4p when they will never fight. You’ll never see Torres v Fedor. BJ wants to be the p4p but anyone with a title can start to claim it. Nothing will ever be proven though. I just don’t understand why the thorough discussion. Kinda like I don’t understand why I insist on saying the same thing over and over just in different terms.

  • justin says:

    surfing,
So, what you’re saying is, you’re from the department of redundancy department, and some times you say the same thing more than once?

But seriously, you’re right it is just speculation, but it gives us something to do. If you’re not interested in the p4p discussions, you don’t have to get involved. The subject has come up around here quite a bit lately, so I can see how you would be tired of reading about it, especially with how much we’ve talked about it recently ;) .

  • gunslinger says:

Ya i have to agree with justin here surfing…I like discussing P4P status it gives me something to do when there no good news going on in mma

  • surfingk5 says:

I also get frustrated when someone says a fighter is the p4p when they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the ear. I think I’m making progress. You’re right Justin, whenever the topic comes up I’ll just ignore it. Cause all I’ll do is get pissed off say something stupid…it’s a vicious cycle. Gentlemen, I look forward to our next counseling session, next time I hope we can focus on gun’s anger management and/or Justin’s desire to be first. So basically what I’m sayin is…j/k

BTW, everyone knows who the real P4P is anyway, so it’s not worth discussing…

  • surfingk5 says:

fr, your jedi mind tricks won’t work on me! I won’t get involved in these p4p battles.

  • justin says:

surfing, you’re not getting a response on that other post, just so you know.

  • bsbiz says:

You mean Bruce Buffer, the Frank Stallone of ring announcing, is being ignored, Justin? Sheesh…

*waves hand* P4p is not the argument you’re looking for…

  • surfingk5 says:

I think a Buffer debate is not only appropriate but a much needed and highly anticipated debate by all…

I thought you’d get a chuckle out of that timely posting Justin.
