Here is a man that wants to be the best. In the sport, so make a contract that lets him. If he wants to fight in Russia, thats his country let him. I wouldnt want Chuck Liddell to sign with another organization if he wanted to fight in America, and they wouldnt let him! The politics are killing the sport in this situation.

Fedor will cave and join or not. The UFC won't allow him to dictate because it would give other fighters ideas. Fighters must always be under the UFC's thumb. There is too much money involved and the UFC has the ball. Fedor is just one player, albeit the best player, the game will be played without him. Never underestimate the greed of those in power.

I've been waiting to see fedor in the ufc since their purchase of pride. If zuffa cant come down from there high horse and give this this guy a contract respectable to both sides, then they are just to arrogant. The ufc is the best mma organization in the world, and Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world. It would would be a shame to see the two not paired up while Fedor still has some good years left.Â

What a huge blow to MMA if Zuffa doesn't get this contract. The one name out there that can outsell the UFC is Emelienanko. He is the badest man bar none in the MMA world, and the money that they would garentee themselves with fights like Fedor vs Randy, or Fedor vs Iceman(which would be really bad for Chuck) is unmatched by any fight to date. I believe Dana White's main concern is Fedor fighting in other organizations like Bodog or Elite, not Sambo like they are representing. Fedor is King and should be given what he wants within reason. He desearves to have the honor of competing in Sambo tournys, but if he is injured and can't compete in MMA then there should be some contingent clause to deal with the monitary loss to Zuffa. Other than that Dana White, get this deal done man. FEDOR IS KING!
