Middleweights Nate Quarry and Demian Maia, who are scheduled to square off on Saturday at UFC 91 in Las Vegas, have both passed preliminary drug screenings administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission prior to the pay-per-view event.
The negative results were today confirmed to MMAFrenzy.com by NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer via email.
They join fellow-UFC 91 competitors Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, Aaron Riley, Jorge Gurgel, Mark Bocek, and Alvin Robinson on the list of fighters who have passed the preliminary tests. Scheduled participants Amir Sadollah and Nick Catone also passed, but were recently scratched from the card.

It’s really sad when this is news.
“NEWSFLASH! No athletes in this event are on performance enhancing drugs. Clearly they need to try harder. Updates at 11.”
Quarry and Maia don’t do drugs, congrats good to hear they are clean, Quarry needs to keep this fight standing hey I’m captain obvious right now alright
Good fight maia by arm bar!
