Robert Drysdale Awards Joe Stevenson Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt

Renowned grappler and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion Robert Drysdale this week awarded UFC lightweight Joe "Daddy" Stevenson his BJJ black belt.
Stevenson, who clashes with Kenny Florian in the UFC 91 co-main event on Saturday in Las Vegas, has earned three of his last four victories via guillotine choke, submitting Dokonjonosuke Mishima, Melvin Guillard, and Gleison Tibau since late-2006.

Congrats to joe daddy on the blackbelt. With that said, I hope florian destroys him. I see this one going to a split decision with Florian winning.
im a big joe daddy fan, i used to hate ken flo but that was about 2 years ago and now i am a big kenny fan, i see kenny stoping joe in the same style BJ did, hopefully kenny will get a shot after this fight, im not intrested in seeing kenny vs sherk, i still belive tyson won that fight against sherk so want a rematch between those 2 guys.
I’m still waiting for an article explaining which Macy’s Roli Delgado’s black belt came from and whether he got it off the clearance rack or just on sale.
Good for Joe but i’m thinking JJ is not so much for guys with short arms like him, nothing could save him from BJ, he looked mentally destroyed after that fight.
I see ken-flo winning by split too…and i agree with johnboy i thought for sure griffin won that fight hands down by split
D, you don’t “win a fight hands down by split”. Winning a fight hands down is unanimous decision, but your wrong. Sherk stayed busy, and threw better combinations. I had him winning that fight along with most of the other people who watched that fight.

congrats joe hopes kenny wins though but a great fight i really liked the sherk vs griffin fight i had sherk win round 1 and 2 and tyson win round 3. i think kenny will will unanimous dicision i think kenny will do good but won’t be able to finsih
