Amir Sadollah Scratched From UFC 91 Due To Leg Infection; Hazelett-McCrory Shifted To Main Card

The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Amir Sadollah has been scratched from his UFC 91 bout against Nick Catone due to a leg infection, the UFC today announced.
The promotion was unable to secure a late replacement for Sadollah and the middleweight matchup has been canceled, however a planned welterweight bout between up-and-comers Dustin Hazelett and Tamdan McCrory has now been shifted to Saturday’s pay-per-view main card.

that is great news. I think the hazlett vs mCcrory is one of the best matchups on the card. I couldnt believe that it wasnt originally scheduled to be on the main card.

Hazelett’s armbar on burkman was amazing. The slickest I have ever seen in a actual fight. I’m glad this fight is now on the main card, and thought amir’s should be on the under card. Its to bad amir is not fighting, but glad to see hazelett make the main card.
I think Maia is going to beat Quarry. Not what I want…….just how I feel. I was excited to see Amir in action but Hazelett/McCrory is a great match up to take its place. Why is Jorge Gurgel in the UFC still???

come on kouch whats with the gurgel hate he is a warrior…..he has only lost 4 times in his carrear..and is actually really good he just tries to stand when he should be wrestling and submitting people quickly…he is a local ohioan trains in dayton/cincy….plus there isnt many people who have a better outlook ok life than him.. he is always very encouraging and never gives up….(see T.U.F. 2)
I am really interested in the Quarry Maia fight also. Hey it has to be better than the Quarry Kalib Starnes fight.

Aoki is dirty, wow. (dirty good not dirty cheater) Some of it I think other good jits guys would have taken advantage of him, but still, entertaining.

Couture v Lesnar~ I want to say Randy forsure, then ofcourse the pure size and strength of Lesnar is a concern.. I can see how both could win also don’t count out Captain America yet he hasn’t fought competetivly in over 400 days soo I’m just going to watch this fight objectively and enjoy it to its fullest
Stevenson over KenFlo, Joe seems rather pissed that many consider him the underdog and perhaps he will put a beating on KenFlo(I’m a fan of both)

randy couture- by tko 1st rnd…I believe randy is just to experienced to lose to lesner…ya brock is huge but everytime people underestimate the natural what happens he dominates…and guess what randy is the underdog again so therefore randy will win and i believe he will come out and just throw a big right and drop lesnar and finish him on the ground early in the first or late submission in the 3rd rnd
kenny florian- joe is good but the only way joe wins is by a miracle guillotine and kennys jits is to good for joe to submit him..kenflo has better stand up so i believe this fight will either be a unanimous decsion for kenflo or a tko by kenflo
hendricks-Im feeling hendricks for my upset pick this month and i think he will gonzaga may have supposivly come back with a win over mccully but i really question his dedication to this sport as of late and i think hendricks is gonna surprise everyone with a tko in the 2nd werdum style!
maia- im pickin maia….to win i see it playing out in quarrys favor though….nate will rock maia eventually most likely then rush to the ground to finish him off and get caught and be submitted via maiangle choke(get it)…late in the 2nd
hazlett- I think if gono can catch mccrory then mclovin sure can……mclovin is gonna catch the barn cat in the 3rd round with a MCarmbar and walk away from the fight a MCwinner
gurgel- hard worker, great heart..loves the sport and i gotta rep the ohio fighters…gurgel to much experience with better fighters will finally show some jits and submit riley

Lesnar will lay and pray and get the win. It will be probably the most boring fight on the card. I will probably be able to read the sports page during that fight and not miss anything. Blah.

BSBiz, you are probably right. My prediction is either lesnar by muscle blanket or randy by decision. I can’t decide. I won’t hate on Brock tho, wrestling doesn’t prepare you to finish a fight that can’t be won by a pin. Watch out for brocks knees to the ribs if randy is on all 4’s.
In regards to the spelling, I have to admit that it bugs me from time to time, but you just have to deal with it. You can’t expect everyone to be perfect, and certainly not to proofread everything. Also, I realize that some people may be commenting from mobile devices (aka Crackberries and the like) and its much harder to care about spelling then.

FR702 and anyone else that has a crackberry, can you give me any tips or tricks for mine. I haven’t had it real long. I have messed around with the browser config, it made some pages look better but made them take forever to load. If I turn on all the java crap and come to this site, my phone will lock up. Any info is appreciated.

I have zero problems with this site with my Berry (since Kris re did the site) as far as the browser config hell I don’t know I did whatever Dietrich and Dbiz told me to do long ago, I empty the cookies and data bs all the time well a few times a week, I don’t run java because of the reason u said on my BlackBerry (best thing eva!!) The only problems I encounter site wise is sometimes @ BE their data is too intensive for the phone soo whatever I don’t comment there anyways… I got away from the script loading part of the ordeal some how I will try to remember and get back to you

Right on, hey Justin I’m not too computer savvy, I do my spread sheets and check my favorite MMA site, to me this “looks” the same as the site on my pc except no advers is that what u mean by mobile version compared to pc version, o and I hit submit comment then the home button other than that it seems alike
I’m not sure, about the mobile version v. the real website, I just remember when the first IPhone came out that was part of their campaign, that you got the real websites. In terms of Opera, I used it a little bit to go on Facebook, and the Facebook page was identical to what I get when I go there on the computer. Maybe they’ve improved their stuff in the last year or so since the IPhone first came out. Once Kris gets that other comment up, take a look at the links in there it will tell you more about Opera.

FR702, there is a huge difference between the mobile web and the web. Your very limited with thing you can do on a lot of sites on the mobile web. As soon as at&t has better service in my area, I will own a iPhone. This site is not affected to much but a lot of my sites I use for work are, and it make them pretty much useless.
I don’t know how it works for you but when I post a comment from my phone (which is most of the time), I hit the submit button, the wait for the page to load and then refresh the screen and my comment comes up after it reloads. But not till I refresh. If I read your comment right, after you submit a comment, you hit home, then have to go back to comments to see yours posted. If so the refresh might save you a couple of steps.
Most sites don’t have a mobile version. So the browser is left to squash the site onto your screen. A well-designed mobile version will solve 99% of “problems” using wap devices.
That said, the biggest thing you can do to your crackberry is update the device software. Your carrier likely will never tell you about doing this.
Go to blackberry.com and select your country. At the bottom of the screen should be an area that says Blackberry software. Click on that and then on Blackberry Device software. There is an upgrade link that will get the latest version for you. Just have it hooked up to your PC and it will detect your model and take care of the upgrade for you.
The new browser in the version I run was worth it in and of itself.

I’ll be adding a mobile version of the site soon, but the main design and new features are the priority for the time being. I’m hoping to have the mobile version up by the middle of December, but will try to get something ready by the end of November if I can.
Kris, will it be a parallel site, or just css based on reported browser? If the latter, I know the Horde project has a good detection system for browser type.
Or use your own, but I thought it might help things along.
Not really sure yet what I’m going to do. I’ve found some sites that’ll turn RSS feeds into mobile sites and there’s also some Wordpress plugins that will change the theme based on the browser, but nothing’s set yet.

WTF!? He got a leg infection. What kind of a leg infection? Staph? I just can’t believe how it can happen. He’s not training in some kind of a dirty gym, he’s at Xtreme Couture. So it basicly means that anybody can go to any kind of gym with any kind of infection and spread this ****. There should be a law that prohibits dirty mother****ers and people with any kind of infectious diseases to go to the 100 yard area of a gym. There should be regular medical tests for everybody who trains (even amateurs), cause this **** is slowly (or rapidly) getting out of hand…

Let’s keep people away from hospitals, too, because staph infections happen all the time there. No “dirty mother****ers” are allowed medical care. In fact, let’s require medical tests to be allowed near a hospital.
Look, staph infections happen. It has nothing to do with dirty. Medical tests can’t prevent it. It is a bacteria. It exists everywhere. The reason so many guys get them at gyms is because they are rolling on the same mats other roll on, they are using equipment others use, and they almost all have little scratches and cuts (from training contact with other fighters) which makes it VERY easy for an infection to start. You want to stop this? Don’t let fighters with any sort of cut or scratch train. Problem there is, you get crappy fights from unprepared fighters.
We should all just be glad MRSA hasn’t made a big appearance there. But it will eventually. The only way to stop it is to not train.
