Thanks for that guys. DBiz, I will likely actually read that later, don’t have time right now. The only reason that made me think it may have come from an ad on here was that when my Norton popped up and told me that, the site quit loading, and I kept getting the pop up, like it kept trying to scan. Once I refreshed the page, it went away. On that computer I have ad blocker b/c of problems I had in the past with other ads on FaceBook setting off Norton, but it was turned off at the time because it interfered with some things that were legit on another website. On the computer that I’m on now, I’m not using Norton, so I likely won’t see anything about it unless I go back to the other machine and turn ad block off again.

I can’t find any information about it on any of the search engines so I’m presuming, as DBiz said, it was just a coincidence it happened while you were on MMAFrenzy.com. If it does happen again while you’re on the site let me know and I’ll investigate further.

Xmas scan? That’s very interesting. I suspect it was coincident to this page. Most likely you got scanned by another machine on your ISP since that is a way of looking for machines running a web server or a telnet server or something of the sort. I see nothing from this page that should have triggered that.

Could be a false positive from Norton too, I suppose.

Not sure which ad, but I believe an ad on here set off my Norton (which I realize can be silly sometimes) telling me an intrusion had been blocked. Something about “NP xmas scan”.
