Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle Set For UFC 93

A welterweight bout featuring Marcus Davis and Chris Lytle has been booked for UFC 93 on January 17th in Dublin, Ireland, according to MMA Weekly.
Davis has fought five-straight bouts in Europe, last defeating Paul Kelly via second-round submission at UFC 89 on October 18th in Birmingham, England.
Lytle was also in action at UFC 89, defeating Paul Taylor via unanimous decision in the “Fight of the Night”.
After their respective bouts both fighters expressed interest in the January matchup, which has now become a reality.
UFC 93 is also slated to feature Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson

I still think the UFC should come back to Birmingham on but a better show on than UFC 89 Leben vs Bisping was an insult of a main event.

this sounds like a kickass fight but yet again, these guys are fighting in the UK. just seems like eventually they’d mix it up a little so people don’t get bored
Lytle has always struggled with top talent in the WW. So this will determine weather Davis is ready for the big time. His fight with Swick was too lackluster and I blame Swick (what happened to that guy?). He really shines with aggressive fighters, so this should be great against the upper echelon gatekeeper.
