Additional Bouts Confirmed For UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008
The UFC has officially confirmed additional bouts for UFC 92 “The Ultimate 2008″, which takes place on December 27th in Las Vegas and features Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva.
Added to the pay-per-view televised main card are bouts featuring The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finalist CB Dollaway against Mike Massenzio and heavyweight contender Cheick Kongo against UFC newcomer Mustapha Al-Turk.
Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy, Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister, Ryo Chonan vs. Brad Blackburn, Antoni Hardonk vs. Mark Burch, and Dan Evensen vs. Pat Berry were all announced for the unaired preliminary card.

Why is CB Throwaway on the main card ?
If i’m not mistaken isn’t Okami 6-1 in the UFC and on the verge of a title shot against Dana’s P4P No 1 ?
Why Dana & Joe is it because he is Japanese
I don’t doubt there is some truth to putting TUF fighters on main cards to lend extra legitimacy to the show. They did make it so that hacks like Julez can’t make it anymore.
That said, Hammill and Okami on the undercard? Hell, why is there an undercard? This is supposed to be the ultimate 2008. Why not PPV the whole card? I’d pay an extra 20 or so to see that entire card. Wouldn’t anyone?
CB shouldn’t be on there but did you happen to see the rest??? Sorry but I’m not interested in seeing Okami take it to another decision. He’s not that fun to watch and they obviously recognize that. Exciting fights are the ones that get televised.
IF he makes it past Lister then you may see him on the main card. I think he’s going to be looking at 6-2
Well in the UK we only pay £10 ($16) a month for Setanta which is our provider for UFC PPV’s so i certainly would consider paying more to see the under card too
I agree though why are Okami & Hamill on the under card and a bum like CB throwaway on the main card i mean Okami vs Lister seems a better fight than CB’s
Show him a little respect, us and chuck. He has a lot of potential. His peruvian necktie victory was pretty sweet to watch. If I see improvement in his fight over the last one I’ll consider it worthwhile to see. I don’t want to watch the same handful of fighters every time.
I would rather see him for a couple fights than never see him fight again and not know why he (maybe) gets cut or why he (maybe) gets moved up in the rankings.
Maybe they’re hoping fights will go short and they can put more of the under card fights on. Besides that they may show them free online after the fact.
Has Chonan won a fight yet in the UFC? They should have the undercard on Spike like Affliction did with FSN. The main card is going to be worth the money though.
Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva these are above average fights but they kind of F&%#ED up the card if this is your biggest card of the year all of your fight on that card should have potentional to be equal to the other three main fights. You go and put on CB Dollaway vs Mike Massenzio and Cheick Kongo vs Mustapha Al-Turk. Sorry not good enuff if you ask me , would of been alot better with Chieck Kongo vs. Junior Dos Santos and Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister, are now I think UFC 90 was the best card so far, not even interested in this 1 for some reason

So say that mir wins (which he very well could) and lesner wins how does the ufc justify lesner being the champ and mir being the (lol can’t think of the word champ) great card though except for okami and hamil as undercards.
Okami definitely has to be on the main card being the #1 contender at MW before his injury. Throwaway (I like that one) is a main carder on Fight Nights at best (so far).
I can live with Hamill being on the undercard although it would be nice to see his fight shown if he can finish his fight fast. However (in the voice of Joe Rogan) Reese is no joke…
Hell former champ Frank Mir fought Hardonk on an undercard before he fought and beat Lesnar for a title shot. But ya gotta go with Okami IMO.

I know this is a stacked card but how can they not aire okami vs lister? i thought a win for okami meant he’d fight silva, am I wrong?
dude they fu8#kd this card up. The three top fights are sick but dolloway and okami in the main card? They shou;d have named this card “the semi-ultimate”, cuz the other fights should be undercarders. If you ask me “ILL WILL” and “ST PIERRE VS FITCH” were just as good, if not better cards then “THE ULTIMATE”.

Jazzkok I couldn’t agree more Dollaway is undercard material and if your going to make that Okami / Lister fight for Number 1 contendership why is it on the Undercard. As for Kongo I like his stand up they should of gave him a stand up / Contender like Carwin or Dos Santos if this really is to be the biggest card of the year all the fights should consist of Top Contenders in the Division.
i agree dude, if lister vs okami is for the #! contender, it should be marketed as that, AND in the main card. I forgot about kongo, hope he can get another win.

They show the undercard fights right after the main event on every pay per veiw i have seen (i don’t normally stay to see if they put them all on) am i wrong?
windmiller, they only show 1 undercard fight, then 1 on ufc.com but the rest you have to shell out more spondulacks for on ufc demand
look at it like this there not putting cb on the main card there puttin mike massenzio on the main card

No matter the line up and order…all I care about is CB getting ripped apart again. Maybe that’s why he’s on the main card. So he can be humiliated again, in front of millions.

CB always looks like he’s disgusted in something,just an observation.I agree with everything i’ve read except paying an extra 20 for ppv.I have direct tv,and already pay like 50 something per fight,and that up around 20 in past 2 years.I’m starting to pick and choose wich fights i should get.Even though i find a reason to get them all anyway.
cb actually isnt that bad of a guy i mean the ultimate fighter doesnt exactly potray all fighters to be the way the really are when no cameras are there and real people are with them…cb is a nice guy he used to train down here in ohio and ive meet him a few times he is a good guy….but i do think okami vs lister should be on tv instead of this….but come on guys cb could most likely kick all of ours butts ……heck hed probably catch me in a peruvian neck tie..but come on he is actually a really good fighter..could be a contender one day

Forget about paying more for the under card, the ufc is overpriced and treats its fighters very badly, these guys put their lives and well being on the line every day when they train and fight. THESE GUYS NEED A UNION AND HEALTHCARE
