Kimbo Could Rematch Petruzelli At K-1 Dynamite!
Though we first made mention of a potential rematch between Kimbo Slice and Seth Petruzelli a couple days ago as a footnote to Cro Cop’s rematch with Alistair Overeem this rumor appears worthy of some front page attention. Contained within a quasi-entertaining article from the Sun Sentinel is this casual tidbit about everyone’s favorite street fighter avenging his most recent foe:
“He (Slice) may fight on the DREAM K-1 New Year’s Eve show in Japan, possibly a rematch with Petruzelli.”
I would normally write this type of rumor off as contrived and nonsensical, but if Japanese promotions have proved to enjoy one thing, it’s freak show squash matches on New Years Eve. Just ask Fedor Emelianenko or Bob Sapp or Zuluzinho. They’ll tell you. I also think that such a matchup might be the perfect opportunity for Slice, whose best bet could very well be the Japanese MMA/Pro Wrestling circuit.
Let’s be honest, the only way Kimbo could possibly make the kind of absurd dollars that EliteXC threw at him would be via the insatiable appetite that Japenese fans seem to have for jacked American dudes who moonlight as wrestlers on weekends. Suffice to say that if I were Kimbo, I’d be brushing up on my Japanese and thinking of a nice gimmicky “finisher” move.

Hello People !!!!! Kimbo Slice is not a MMA fighter he’s in it for the money thats why he’d go to Japan for the money, Lower Quality of opponents , because other then that he would have taken his chances on the TUF … All TUF is, is a few fighter and Kimbo doesn’t think he can hang with them, because if he thought he could beat them and he was a real MMA fighter, he would go win that show win 100k and be in the best MMA show there is UFC , but Slice is here for the “Money” not to be the best fighter.
Japan has a lower quility of opponents for Kevin Ferguson?? I think some guy named Cro Cop would be able to give Kevin a fight, but I don’t know much of him

i am watching the DREAM K-1 show …… who cares if Kimbo isnt world class ? Who care if he doesnt wanna join the UFC ? he wants to fight …. most guys would have said “I got whupped , thanks for the money ” and disappeared … he wants to come back for more so lets applaud him for that . he wont be headlining the show , its a rematch , and he thinks hecan beat him so thatswhat a fighter does . Kimbo slice would punch any one of us once and you’d be picking up the top of your skull … he can fight with his fists and thats his thing .i just want to clarify though that Im not just watching K-1 for this particular fight … but it adds to a fun show in the end , right?
Actually, I think Kimbo could survive if he went pure K-1. Learn to absorb a leg kick and punch the **** out of people. He’d win some, he’d lose some. But he would be a bit less of a joke there.

It doesnt matter about the size , Im sure seth will put on a few pounds….. the point is they want to fight again … there is no relevance to it……when two people want to fight the outcome is usually pretty good for the fans end . they fight hard and bitter in most cases …….we get to see a KO ending …. Im satisfied , then the next match begins .the DREAM card will be better than you expect …
