Anderson Silva Wants To Fight Again “Immediately”, Could Fight Liddell in February

Posted by Kris Karkoski on Oct 29, 2008 at 6:57 pm ET77 Comments

Anderson Silva Defeats James IrvinUFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva, fresh off his underwhelming injury TKO victory over Patrick Cote on Saturday at UFC 90, is already eyeing a return and, if he could have his way, it’d come next month.

“[Anderson Silva's] flipping out. He wants to fight again, like, on Nov. 15,” UFC President Dana White told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “He’s (upset) about his performance and he wants to fight again immediately.”

Though fighting in under a months time is almost certainly out of the question, Silva could return for a light heavyweight matchup at UFC 92 in December or, perhaps most likely, battle Chuck Liddell in the headlining bout of UFC 95 on February 21st in London.

i feel sorry for whoever fights silva next.. cause he gonna go hard..

  • ufcmanz says:

Silva is not use to people giving his fights a bad comment , I’m really looking forward to his next fight in the UFC because he is going to roll over his next opponent by way of KO in 2nd round or less

  • Surfingk5 says:

This man is truly amazing. What heart. Can you imagine if half the fighters had this mans drive???

  • FR702 says:

I want Anderson Silva to fight asap, I’m not sure if I would like for him to fight Chuck.. It would be rather interesting forsure if Chuck wins he would have beat one of the baddest men in all of MMA..
Silva wins well here we go again with Chuck should retire and such…

But I do believe whom ever he fights he will come out and do his business “properly” (DbiZ j/k)

  • RyanMoney says:

Whoa, Im gonna save for the London show for sure. I see Silva beating Chuck up pretty bad. It will be an interesting fight though.

  • Ethan says:

Rather than Chuck (we know what’s gonna happen) he should get okami in december or shogun in dublin. I would prefer the latter. what a fight!

  • Surfingk5 says:

If it’s Chuck I’m willing to put money on him. If Anderson wins…I’ll never doubt again…

  • Ethan says:

How do I get a cool little pic like you guys have??

  • FixXeR says:

    Ethan….gravatar.com

I want to see Anderson fight a tougher opponent….Chuck would be an interesting one.

  • FR702 says:

@ the bottom of the page is “Gravatar” set up link and it will assist u step by step cheers

  • FR702 says:

I would love to see Silva fight on the Nov 15th card, it definately needs some help, Brock v Randy cool as it might be the next intriguing fight is KenFlo v Daddy Stevenson if they were to add Silva in the mix it would be even better..

  • Ethan says:

the Nov 15 card is impossible. who would be insane enough to take a fight with him on 2 weeks notice???

  • Surfingk5 says:

FixXeR, I agree…He needs to fight a top dog.

  • FR702 says:

Didn’t James Irvin take on Silva on short notice???? Someone has to be looking for a quick payday

SurfingK5 & FixXer what top dog should he fight?? Liddell?? Or how about a fight between him & Okami finally??

  • Ryan in NY says:

Man I love Chuck, he’s such an Icon and a good face for the UFC but I don’t see him beating Silva. I honestly don’t know who in 170, 185 or 205 I could say I’m confident could beat Silva.

  • FR702 says:

Tim Boteisch(sp?) He hasn’t fought since Hamill whooped him

Eric Shaffer, he’s got really good ground game and is coming off of a victory

I don’t know I have to think harder to come up with a better match~up for Anderson

  • Surfingk5 says:

    FR702

So I started making a rough draft list of “top dogs” and stopped. As I’m putting the list together I’m thinking of how Anderson would put his game plan together and how he would execute like a surgeon…picking apart everyone.

So, Randy Couture, Captain America is who he needs to fight.

F**k I don’t know!!! I don’t see anyone matching up with him. Send Captain America in to do the impossible.

  • Ethan says:

Theonly fight that would be worth anyone’s time on the 15th would be Machida. He hasn’t fought in forever. However, they’re boys and it won’t happen. Boetch would stand and get killed Schaeffer would be a no win situation for the UFC (both good ideas though). If Silva somehow got subbed by him it would really hurt his credibility. I just can’t see it happening.

  • southcakalak says:

boetsch fought at 88….destroyed some no name

  • FR702 says:

    here are some names……

    MW

Lawler~ not signed yet and imo doesnt deserve a immediate title match

Okami~ get the rematch Silva wants, lets get the violence overwith

    Hendo/Franklin~ fighting each other

Marquardt~ has already lost to Silva, probably wouldnt want to take on short notice

    Leites~ just fought…

Bisbing~ not ready to face Silva and he knows it

Maia~ not sure if Wanderlei would let him fight Silva + i dont think he deserves a shot YET

    Kampmann~ doesnt deserve it

    MacDonald~ really?

    Leben~ NOT AGAIN!!!!

    LHW

    Griffin v Evans

    Wanderlei v Jackson

    Machida v Thiago

Liddell~ dont like it but could definately happen (whats the upside?)

Jardine~ interesting fight imo (if he is ready)

Rua~ Chute Boxe wont fight each other (plus rematch v Coleman)

Soku~ Hmm thats interesting to me as well (if healthy)

Vera~? if he loses is he out of the UFC

    Goran Reljic~ Injured

    Glover Teixeria~ WHY NOT?!!!!!!!

not many choices is there? Schafer,Tim,Bonnar can be added in there too best i could come up with rightnow SurfingK5

  • FR702 says:

thx Southcakalak i forgot when he last fought

  • Mikew says:

I dont think Anderson would face someone in the top couple of positions but i think a top 5 fighter would work so they dont screw things up for people directly in a belt hunt. I think Chuck would fit here nicely and is a bigger draw than Okami. MacDonald also fits the bill but would stand less of a chance than Cote, Silva seems to want the LHW action though so my guess is Chuck for a big buck PPV.

  • Surfingk5 says:

I ran the same. No one matches up…ultimately.

CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!! I’m dead ass serious. Who else has the potential??? Randy is very dangerous right now. I know he has Brock but when you weigh experience, training, heart…I don’t see anyone else, right now with a prayer against that F*****g machine Silva. It sucks but who else is there????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • Bigchief says:

I remember having this same conversation about Hughes in his heyday when he was repeatedley called the best pound for pound fighter in the world. I think guys like him and Silva are proof of the evolution of the sport, these kind of guys raise the bar and take the whole sport to a higher level. Like Hughes it’ll most likely take an up and coming star to beat Silva, one who is very smart and very powerful i might add. Machida is the first name that comes to my mind because he looks like a fighter on his way to a title. He also is unorthodox, very smart and hits really hard. Im sure I’ll catch flak for this but I’d like to see a returning Diego Sanchez fight the Spider if he earns it. I just think its gonna take a young rising star to beat him beacause in my opinion SIlva has evolved past the old guard.

  • Josh V says:

What about Quinton Jackson vs. Silva? Any thoughts on that, guys? What about A. Silva vs. W. Silva?

  • Josh V says:

    FR702,

I have trained with Glover Texeira….he’s a baaaaaaaaaaad dude, man. He’s from Chuck’s camp and he’s one of Chuck’s good friends. Trust me, fellas. Glover’s a great fighter.

  • Surfingk5 says:

    Punchers chance

  • KOuch says:

Can’t believe I am saying this but I feel it is very true……

Patrick Cote had a better chance at beating Silva than Liddel ever will. Silva/Liddell is pointless from where I stand as a fan but on the business side of things it would be a great way to headline a card with their two names in the main event. I would much rather see Silva fight Marquardt again, Okami, GSP, Lawler, Evans at 205 after his Griffin fight and many many many others. The match up with Liddell does not interest me much. Silva is too fast with fierce striking. Liddell’s counter punch won’t get him far with Silva. Not that any of the names I mentioned above stand any better a chance…..just sayin I would be more interested in watching those fights. Why would Chuck want to fight Silva anyway??? F-ing crazy MAN!

  • shane says:

i said a few articles ago that i think anderson and jardine would be a great fight doesnt anyone else? jardine likes to stand and hits like a mother phucker but i guess i have seen him get ko’d before just like the next guy i was going to say and that is HOUSTON ALEXANDER they have nothing to lose (ie- up coming title fight) i would say either would be a good fight?

  • M3 says:

what a boring match up Like really we should all know that if chuck cant stand and trade with Evens hes got NO CHANCE WITH SILVA Here!!!! chuck is Done! well maybe im being to hard on the guy but man he is not winning and he lost 3 out of 4 fights Does this seen like a True test for silva the best mid weight fighter in the world! its just i think we all are getting soft served here! The ufc is the biggest mma company in the world and they cant put anyone else in front of Silva maybe a guy who will push the fight a little … i dont know maybe Lyoto Machida he has not lost yet!, Stephan Bonnar, or Thiago Silva but i think he hurt i dont know, i think the ufc just not pulling out the stop trying to stop the the MW p4p fighter even trying to bring competition in to fight him at his proper weight like Paulo Filho who fights for wec hes 16 and 0 they could get him no problem or Robbie Lawler he a free agent now , or pull from Japan Kazuo Misaki or the guy he really should fight Gegard Mousasi who’s 24 and 2 and dreams GP and MD Camp right now ….. alls im saying anyone of these guy are BETTER the old man liddell

  • Bigchief says:

Silva vs. Rampage would be good, fight wise though a really good match up maybe down the road if Griffin holds onto his title for awhile would be Griffin vs. Silva. Why not give Anderson a chance to fully live up to his hype and make history by holding two titles consecutivley?

  • FR702 says:

I now that Teixeria is a bad dude never said he wasn’t……Out of the LHW’s i thought him or Soku would be the best fight.. Houston Alexander v Anderson Silva not so much, i dont give Houston much of a chance of lasting with Silva (punchers chance ofcourse).. Josh V righnow im about ummm 12 minutes away from THE PIT Arroyo Grande, i enjoy that place and the people that train there good people forsure and to answer your question about Rampage v Wanderlei umm Wand will be 3~0 vs Rampage, Anderson v Wanderlei wont happen due to their friendship, yet Wand said if it were for the title (whomever had it) he would fight Anderson (saw it in some interveiw no actual source)

Jardine v Anderson is interesting imo i like Jardine and his “awkward” style would be different v Anderson

KOuch, my friend really……. goodness that pained me to read that VIVA LA MIDGETS!!!!!!!

  • FR702 says:

Anderson Silva said that he wanted Lyoto to win the LHW title, and we know that they wont fight one another…. Rampage v Anderson does have a ring to it….. it could be the whole Chute Boxe,Black House connection v Rampage then if Lyoto could fight Page too

Rampage v Wanderlei, then Rampage v Anderson, the Rampage v Lyoto, NICE!!

  • timcat says:

I hope Liddell don’t take this career ending fight. He would be KO’ed in less than a minute.

  • Us And Chuck says:

I agree that Silva vs Liddell is pointless now Chuck is past it 18-24 months ago this would have been something but now it seems rather pointless.

The best fights availble to Slva are rematches Okami (if he beats Lister)and Marquart if we are looking an immediate fight.

I like the idea of a Jardine fight certainly a big step up from the likes of a James Irv-can but Keith does have an Amir Kahn like chin and do not see Jardine lasting long but if Greg Jackson set’s up a good game plan it could differ.

Personally i’d like to see Dana sign Kimbo for 1 fight and Joe Silva set up a fight with Anderson :) :) :)

  • Surfingk5 says:

KOuch, having you been smokin a lil somethin???

I think there’s a few fights for Anderson that have ring to them…But they all end up the same way. That’s why I suggest Randy. It’s not about titles or weight classes any more. He’s needs to fight the best. I know it won’t happen because of weight classes but maybe it should get to the point where the best pound for pound fighters should be placed against each to settle the dispute.

  • RJA says:

I can’t believe what i’m reading, not interested in seeing the best striker in the world{silva} against the best striker in LH history{lidell}.I know lidell has not been impressive but look what happened when he fought wandy, both lost last 2 fights going in.I’m a big lidell fan and know this could officially end his carrer but the implications are huge.If lidell wins he beat the best if anderson wins he beat 1 of the best ever. It’s risky for lidell but it could put him right on track if he could pull of the upset,i think it would be an upset.

  • DBiz says:

Liddell can barely beat his own meat now. That is a fight with absolutely no appeal. None.

If Dana genuinely believes that Silva is the best p4p fighter in the world, he should put him against someone in line for a title shot and not hold a loss against that fighter. After all, they lost to the second coming of Jesus, so it was expected right?

Forget it. I’m actually sick of hearing about Silva. Put him on the shelf for about 6 months and I might give a **** but right now I just want him to go far, far away.

  • DBiz says:

    Final word…

If he’s as good as everyone says and no one can beat him, he needs to take some damn dancing lessons so his post fight celebrations don’t cause me to want to stab myself in the face with a fork. The hip shimmy (GAY AS HELL) and ****ty ninja routine have got to go.

  • Joe says:

It’ll be nice to see Diaz on a regular UFC card instead of only Fight Night cards.

  • Jazzkok says:

Dude if they give him chuck then chuck is DEFINATELY finished, cuz silva’s pist and out to make an example of his next opponent. Besides, chuck needs to hang up them gloves dude he can’t hack it in the LHW div. anymore. Waaayyy too much talent in that div.

  • oldman says:

Don’t let him headline again, i will not pay for that fight. Put them on the undercard for the nov.15 fight and let anderson fight at 185 and chuck has to make 205. done like dinner, i miss the old days of ufc when they had catch wieght fights it makes the sport and betting more interesting.

  • oldman says:

well not undercard, sorry i mean co-main

  • Justin says:

*note – I haven’t read any of the other comments, and don’t have time at the moment.

I just wanted to say that I look forward to Anderson fighting again and hope he puts on a better showing. I also hope he fights at 205, I think that him against Chuck could be a good fight, and possibly a no lose situation. If Chuck wins it puts him back on track, if he loses, he lost to the best P4P fighter in the world, not necessarily the end of the world. If Anderson wins he moves up the ranks, if he loses, he was moving up a weight class. I think its a little more risky for Anderson than for Chuck, in all reality.

  • UFC Odds says:

based on their last performances, who would throw the first punch?

  • Mikew says:

If any LHW was to beat Silva would that move them up in the standings for a shot at the title, i dont think so. So what is the motivation for any LHW to fight Silva at all, they cant really refuse when the UFC calls so it creates a crappy situation. Thats why it would have to be a guy in the top 5-10 who is not in immediate contention but wants some recognition and a little more popularity. Is Silva ranked in the LHW’s after he beat the Sandman?

  • JOHNBOY says:

man ide love to see this fight, i think chuck would win and i’ll tell u why. this will be the first fight since probley his 1st battle with randy that chuck will be underdog, he will have no pressure on him wat so ever, people will expect him to be beat, so chuck will go in there with no weight on his sholders no pressure and he will just let those bad boy hands fly and that spells a nastey KO for the spider

  • DBiz says:

I haven’t expected chuck to win in over a year so I don’t know what you’re talking about Johnboy. The boy needs to hang em up and start coaching.

  • ufcmanz says:

In my opinion the only reason why Liddell was KO’ed by Rashad and Quinton was because he was fighting what was in his mind a “Top Level Wrestler” Chuck was Sloppy , keeped his hands low and throw the Upper Cut not in a combination. Not saying his chin is the best or anything. When Chuck fought wrestlers in the past they shot on him, choicing not to stand and bang with him, when Chuck was Champion vs Rampage maybe he thought it was Pride rules he lose to, and Rashad well he didn’t look that impressive vs Bisping , what it comes down to was Chuck didn’t Respect the power in their hands so thats why he lost. I just don’t see Chuck keeping his hands down like that with Silva, Silva is not threat for a takedown like Quinton or Rashad. I am not sure of his chance of beating Silva is but its even in reach and height I believe, and Silva has the more technical striking and better chin , Chuck has the power tho or it maybe even. Anyways it’ll be a good fight

  • Justin says:

    ufcmanz,
I think they’re actually close to the same height. Chuck may be a little bigger otherwise. I think as far as power they are probably close to even. It would be a fight worth watching though.

  • JOHNBOY says:

wel i for one have expected chuck to win in his last 7/8 fights but fighting silva i expect him to get beat, so maybe chuck will suprise us all and knock silva out, thats wat im saying DBiz

  • shane says:

i read all these and alot of you’s say anderson has the better chin, has anyone even tested anderson’s chin that much??????

  • UFC fan says:

uh oh if this happens chuck is going out again i like liddell but anderson silva is to dang good and i think silva will be to fast for liddell

  • brocqy says:

interesting enough getting an oponent to be a good match,,well id love for chuck to fight ,,simply because silva has never really been hit ,,and chuck hasnt had a fight where he hasnt landed a good punch,,jackson exempt,,that wasnt a fight!! so i think it would be the best match up for silva,,chuck can beat him,,i think chuck still fights well ,,theres just a point that he hasnt realised,,his only weekness is the fact that he drops his hands ,,people evolve ,,if he turns that around and finds new ways to get his oponnent to come to him ,,then its the chuck of old ,,i think he will win hands down if this fight happens ,,now the other option is a good one ,,who wouldnt like to see a fight between couture and silva,,randy would smash him,,its only a matter of time b4 the fighters see through silvas level and bring it to him,,look at franklin ,he had no idea how to fight him ,,but its going to happen ,,i cant wait im excited to see who beats him ,,,,but if i had a pick then its chuck by a long way!!

  • Bobby guns says:

I will take the fight on 2 weeks notice….You here me Silva???? I challenge you for ur belt and ill fight anytime….Im first gona sweep kick to knock u off the ground then on ur way down ill ill be in the air 2 and land a flying knee to your ribs,, as u squirmish in pain ill be whailing on u with punches and elbows…at this point ill work my way into what i a call the texas chainsaw massacre move where i pull on ur head and try to pull it off…im hopiung u dont tap cause i will pull it off and have done thjis before to andy jonen..ill do the fight for 100 grand, dana u know my number, dont be afraid to let the world see the truth, step it up shrek

  • dan hildebrandt says:

Look, the new technique bar is Anderson Silva. Nobody can raise it right now. Let’s face it, though. If you run up the line for the pure fighter, from Tank Abbott to Chuck Liddell, the bar has been raised by none other than keith Jardine. The only reason Liddell lost is that Jardine is the best stalker. I think Silva is in trouble fighting Jardine’s raw strength, heavy base, and iron jaw. I think Rashad Evans is going to give them BOTH a hard time. It is amazing watching Silva, though. What a talent! I called Jardine against Liddell when Jardine fought the American Psycho. Not that the American psycho is any measure, but Jardine’s style is so awkward and his punch is just like Liddell’s; loping and hard.

  • Figs says:

Only true 1 – Henderson had two titles at the time so that’s why they let that happen. BUt regardeless I think this would be a good matchup. Silva would actually go after Chuck, and his two recent losses to jardine and evans was not that case. Evans had a great game plan as he didn’t need to bring the fight on, but Anderson will. Leaning towards Silva (if this will actually happen, but don’t think it will) but you have to be out of your mind to say that Chuck doesn’t stand a chance. Silva has never been hit on the button, and if someone has the power to finish it, it’s liddell.

  • Josh V says:

    FR702

I was agreeing with you…and now I envy you. 12 minutes from the Pit…..wow, wow and wow…..hats off to ya’ :)

    Josh V

  • FR702 says:

Josh V, no worries man, I enjoy the people @ THE PIT and ofcourse the central Coast of Cali is like a home away from home so that’s always bueno

  • BHopkins says:

Well I’m thinking someone is forgetting someone who is in the middleweight division who could be a legitimate match for Silva, which is Michael “The Count” Bisping. Both fighters fight very technical fights and although it may be extremely boring, I believe Bisping could pull it off.

  • mike says:

Man, i’m sick and tired of hearing about anderson silva !!! everyone needs to stop sweating him. I know a couple of names that would take him, not sayin its gonna be easy, but a for sure win. 1.gsp, killed matt hughes and almost crippled fitch, will maybe do the same to bj penn. 2. bj penn, great fight, 2 cocky fighters, but bj wants no more blemishes on his record and he seems to have figured the fight game out by now. 3. rampage, wanderlia, liddel (yes liddell), rashad, shogun, griffen (good match), and maybe winner of machida/thiago silva. oh and alves (thiago)

  • FR702 says:

Out of the possibilities u threw out there here is what I think (hey its a slow monday)

GSP~would be a great match, GSP clearly would dominate the wrestling aspect of the fight yet the standup would be Silva’s, the submission game I would have to give to Silva as well, but that would be a hell of a fight hope to see it sometime in 2009
BJ Penn~ standup, well power I would give to Silva but BJ has underrated standup imo but Silva is dominate
Ground work I would give to Penn definatly see his rubbergaurd comming into play v Silva, I don’t think he will move to 185 tho

Rampage~ I doubt this fight will happen but I would actully love to see it happen, Silva’s knees are key Rampage doesn’t like knees

Liddell~ this fight is up in the air but Chuck hasn’t looked to confident recently

Rashad~ would get kicked in the head by Silva he is unorthodox yes but The Spider would catch him imo

Griffin~ would get out pointed by Silva, I think it would be close I also think Forrest is one of the few that could go the distance with Silva

Thiago S~ this fight intrests me a lot, it can go many ways but I also could see it ending like Irvin I suspect that if Thiago beats Lyoto this would now become a possibility

Thiago Alves~ I don’t know what to make of this but I would like to see GSP v Alves first

Lyoto Machida, Wanderlei Silva, Shogun Rua won’t fight Anderson Silva simply cuz they’re friends and/or training partners goes back to Chute Boxe days and BlackHouse, now Anderson Big Nog and Machida are training together here in the states, cheers

  • mike says:

Realy well sorted out, but i still believe that Anderson Silva is highly over rated, its that simple. Okay, Rich Franklin twice, congrats. But Franklin hasnt had a GREAT challenger either. Hendo is the only exception that i’m suprised at, but hendo dominated the first round, he, just like marquette, underestimated silva, plus hendo aint the same since the transition form pride to ufc. Dont get me wrong, silva aint a bad fighter, its just that hes TOO over rated. Here, look at it this way, all the people that i mentioned, would not only beat, but murder the same opponents that Anderson Silva has faced.

  • mike says:

Oh, P.S, Irvin is not a real good fighter. Lucky puncher, thats all. Was way to intiminated by Silva, it wasnt fair. Another over rated figher to add to this blog just for the record; Matt Serra.

  • DBiz says:

Mike, I think you mean high on powerful narcotics, not “intiminated,” whatever that is.

  • FR702 says:

Mike, thx for the acknowledgement, I do gather that you and I don’t exactly see eye to eye on this but he is beatable forsue hell he does have 4 losses, but the nutthuggery (sorry read that somewhere) can become rather bothersum, cheers

  • T3chn3tnium says:

I personally think that forrest would give him a run for his money.

Forrest’s game plan consist, and i quote “i’ll figure it out when i get punched in the face.” the dude likes to get hit. hes a beast and thats why he is champion.

Lyota would also beat him i think. they are just alike. lyota is very evasive and knows when to strike and when not to.

but i guess you could say it could go either way. i would love to see silva vs. griffin! its almost for sure it would go atleast 3 rounds.

  • The Gunslinger says:

MIKE, DONT YOU EVER TALK BAD ABOUT IRVIN…YOU CAN TRY TO TALK BAD ABOUT ANY FIGHTER YOU WANT EXCEPT FOR IRVIN, MAYNARD, MACHIDA AND ANY LOCAL OHIO FIGHTERS….IRVIN IS A GREAT MUAY THAI PRACTITIONER AND WHO WOULDNT BE INTIMIDATED BY SILVA….u dont wanna know wat happened to the last guy who mad fun of the sandman

  • T3chn3tnium says:

    don’t underestimate the forrest!

  • FR702 says:

Isn’t Irvin training out here in Cali or is it split time Gun?? Who mad fun of James?? And be honest the guy has power (perhaps u will say he got caught by Silva but….) He may need to work on rounding out his game if you will…

  • The Gunslinger says:

i admit his ground game is no where to be found but his muay thai is top ten in ufc..he has actually trained in thailand….but ya he trains with the capitol city fighting alliance with scott smith and i think urijah faber trains there to

  • FR702 says:

Um ya I thought he did boxing and Thai work out here

Hey Gun hows training and when do you fight

I got stuck in a Kimura and poped my elbow like 2 times but I got out and worked into a triangle but this shiit hurts like a biatch

  • kara says:

Wait … aren’t Silva and Liddell completely different weight classes? Unless Liddell cuts weight or Silva gains, I don’t see that match-up happening.

  • Ana says:

Silva will kick ass he is the best of the best very one he fights gose down. I fell bad 4 chuck he if he take this fight he is takeing a tick 2 hell.If silva wonts to fight Yushin okami again he is crazy but he knows what he is doing. I hope I think he should gight forest Giffen man he will kill him. Just face it silva can and will take Chuck down and I am going to lugh so hard I will turn blue. I love Anderson Silva!!!!!!! :]<3

  • fr702 says:

kara, Silva would come up to fight Liddell, ala the Irvin fight

Ana, Silva is great no doubt, the Okami fight well Silva wouldnt be crazy to take that fight i believe he would win that fight, the first one want really anthing til the upkick…
If Silva does fight Liddell that would definately that be a difficult fight for Chuck to will because of Silva’s percise striking…
Anderson wants his training partner Machida to get the oppritunity to fight Griffin soo that their squad could hold the HW, LHW, MW titles (Big Nog, Lyoto Machida, Anderson Silva)

  • pal says:

Cannot wait for a new champion at UFc-92, and Rampage is going to kick ass, please believe me !!!! I will be laughing all the way to the bank if you think not. I know many of you have little favorites but , that,s how it will go down. This will be a good ending for the year.

  • russiandoeboi says:

i still think lindland would dominate spider.
    watch him against rampage. fedor
    o
if spider loses it wont probly be to MW striker – he’s too long and his footwork is the best.

fedor closed the distance on all so far, and judging from how okami was able to take down spider and also hendo was. fedor would be a bad match for spider. spiders ground is great but even big nog’s couldn’t stop fedor
