Chicago seems like a place that could very well become the UFC’s second home next to Vegas. The fans seem pretty familiar/knowledgeable with the sport and the events are always a success. Last night did have its unfortunate ending but shit happens….

Yeah, I looked online and saw $300 lower level seats available like 3 hours before the fight. I was really thinking about going, but the card felt like more of a ppv, save your money for a better 1 lol. Glad I didn’t go. Don’t get me wrong, the Sherk and Alve’s fights were very entertaining, but i’d rather save the money to get ring side seats next time lol.

I cant stand booing from the crowd at the stupidest times, however there is always a few drunk ones in the crowd, overall a great noisy crowd.

I thought that audience stunk.. All they did was boo between them and goldy I was better off muting it..

The ref for the Maynard fight was horrible. Absolutely terrible. Maynard transitions from guard to side control – “Come on guys, you gotta do something.”

Maynard throws a knee to the ribs – “Let’s go guys, you gotta work.”

Seriously? Who were the pathetic jokes they were using? With the exception of that Dr. Dave guy, they need to be drummed out of the sport because they were absolutely, positively terrible.

People boo at every ppv, it’s stupid, but i’m used to it. When I watch with my dad, I hear him rant about people having alot of f-ing nerve every time lol.

We are diehard UFC fans. I would hope the UFC does not consider this a $2.5MM win for the sport, while the fans were so hugely disappointed. Anderson Silva is normally such a maniac. What the H was he doing out there for 2.5 rounds? We were stunned watching from home, where we have a UFC party for EVERY fight. Cote was injured, and that cannot be helped (unless he was injured before he got in octagon). But what is the explanation for Silva, unless he also knew about the injury in advance, and knew he could just wait it out? This is not WWF!!!! Let’s not get anywhere close to going in that direction. I’m a big fan of Anderson Silva, but he should be fined for b.s.ing, at the fan’s cost. And I’m one of them.

    Love the UFC,

Do you really expect Spider to knock everyone out in 1 round Barbi? I actually enjoy watching him for more than 30 seconds. He tried to knock him out, you have to give credit to Cote for taking the hits. I think once Anderson saw Cote wasn’t going down as easily as the rest of the guys he fought recently, he decided to wait for Cote to attack so he could counter, but it never got that far unfortunetely.
