Most UFC talk following UFC 73 surrounded the controversial Ortiz vs. Evans unanimous draw and the rematch most fans expect to see later this year. Here are some notes about the rematch including when it may happen:
- Neither Tito Ortiz or Rashad Evans will face another opponent before they have a rematch later this year.
- The rematch is expected to happen this fall with The Star-Ledger in New Jersey speculating that it may happen at the UFC tentatively scheduled for November at Newark’s Prudential Center.
- While the rematch would surely be a welcome and solid addition to a PPV card there is speculation that the fight may headline a free Spike TV event.
Since the original fight happened just days ago the details on the rematch will likely not be available for sometime although November or December appear to be the months the UFC is targeting for the rematch.

This fight better be free on Spike. I do not want to waste more PPV fight time on these 2. I can only hope for a Rashad KO of Tito to end the beef and Tito's carreer as a legitimate contender.
No NO NO NO, Rashad was tooo damn cockey post fight conference. My man Tito is going to train at the bigger bear this time.. So re-think then bet at BODOG.COM
ortiz will win…rasheed got a wake up call…he was too cocky jumping everywhere entering and while he was in the ring…ortiz will win and setup a fight with a main guy…maybe rampage-henderson loser…or wenderlia from pride fighting…
