BJ may be a greta fighter but GSP takedown defence > BJ take downs and that isn’t even up for debate. Anybody remember the last time someone was able to take GSP down?

Like I said b4, I’ve never seen penn get walked thru by anyone… but then again I’ve never seen anyone dominate fitch like that… and u gotta think, fitch is a big welterweight… bj isnt… so i would have to give the strength to gsp… wrestlng definitely to gsp… nails almost 80% of his takedowns… and lets face it, as good as baby jake is… he isnt too great at the takedown defense… strikin i would have to go near even, with a slight edge to st. pierre, simply becuz he throws more than just punches… bj doesnt really… submission, definitely goes to penn, but st. pierre has some pretty good sub defense… penn looked good on cardio in his last fight against sherk… but i dunno how he’ll handle the extra 15 pounds again… st. pierre has great cardio and we’ve seen him go 5 rounds w/ a bigger fighter… all in all i’d have to say st. pierre will win

Well said windmiller!! Couldnt agree more. All these crazy fools sayin St Pierre will walk through bj theyre nuts!! St Pierre is scared to stand with anyone since Serra ko’d him. He aint gonna be able to lake bj down and even if he does he wont be able to just lie on him for 5 rounds, bj will catch him sooner or later!! You have to make bj the favourite in this fight because he has more ways he can win, st pierre only has one. He needs to pray that bj gasses and that wont happen. Bj wins this fight 9/10.

i had forgotten that he trains with Joey Villasenor, still doesnt make Joey any better i thought that (for whatever reason) Jackson got rid of him

Thanks for that correction. When I was typing, it didn’t seem to make sense that BJ didn’t finish Sherk. I looked at that and went “Not too sure on this one”….thanks for the clarification

First fight extremely close. This fight goes 5 rounds this time. If BJ trains properly this time and doesn’t gas out like he did in the Hughes fight, then it goes to the judges. Too close to call. GSP is a cardio machine and BJ has been known to be a little flabby at 170.

Brandon youre crazy if you think that St Pierre will control Bj for 3 rounds. Its just not gonna happen dude!! The only advantage that St Pierre has over Bj is wrestling and that aint gonna be enough in this fight. Prediction bj wins by ko or sub late in the 3rd. You heard it here first my friend!!
