ESPN has changed the name of one of their fan-voted ESPY awards from Best Boxer to Best Fighter to allow MMA fighters to be nominated to win the award. Taking advantage of the change, Randy “The Natural” Couture and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson have both been nominated for the ‘Best Fighter’ ESPY category.

The full list of nominees in the category also includes WBA Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto, Super Lightweight Champion of the World Floyd Mayweather Jr., and WBC Super Featherweight Champion Manny Pacquiao.

Couture came out of retirement to capture the UFC Heavyweight Title from Tim Sylvia at UFC 68 while Jackson upset Chuck Liddell to claim the UFC Light Heavyweight title last month at UFC 71.

Jimmy Kimmel and LeBron James will host the show which will air July 15th at 9pm on ESPN.
