Its not a big cut agreed. I know that I lost 10lbs when I went from just running, to wrestling everyday whenever I used to wrestle in High School. The thing is, he was admittedly out of shape, this was between his fights with Hendo, and Forrest. Forrest is a guy that is always training and always in shape...look who won that fight...granted being in shape or not wasn't the only factor...

Quitting because you didn't show up in shape, versus quitting because you caught a beat down are two different things. The only time quitting because you didn't show up in shape is acceptable is if you take the fight on short notice, but even then I think if these guys were really serious about their careers they'd be training year round, not gaining 20 extra pounds between fights. (I saw Rampage say, at one point, b/w fights that he was 245)

It's late after working all day... The weather has been a little more temporate lately, but with the high humidity, it's still tough.

By the way, I emailed Adam Baker at Dream again to ask for more information and I got this reply:

"No new info yet - Thanks for the support"

So we don't know when the next Dream will be or if there'll be a welterweight grand prix or who'll be fighting or anything right now.

I don't remember that right now... it's late... If a guy is beat and he knows it, then there's nothing wrong with wanting to live to fight another day. That's what the tapout is all about. I don't mind a fighter throwing in the towel because he's beat up and knows it's over, but to not show up in shape to give it your best... that's unprofessional at least and unacceptable.
