Cage Rage Champ Mustafa Al-Turk Signs With UFC, To Fight Cain Velasquez in December

Cain VelasquezMustafa Al-Turk (6-3) has vacated the Cage Rage British heavyweight title and has signed a four-fight deal with the UFC according to MMA Weekly.

Al-Turk is expected to make his UFC debut in December at UFC Fight Night 16: UFC Fights for the Troops against undefeated heavyweight up-and-comer Cain Velasquez (4-0).

Following back-to-back losses to begin his career Al-Turk scored four-straight victories before suffering his third professional loss in late-2007. He’s since rebounded with back-to-back stoppage wins over Gary Turner and James McSweeney.

Velasquez is 2-0 inside the octagon with first-round TKO victories over Brad Morris and Jake O’Brien.
