Nice finish for Loiseau after dislocating his shoulder in the first. It still seemed that he was
hesitant to get into a brawl but he capitalized on his opportunities in the end and KO’D Hutch.

  • FR702 says:

I like the CROW, perhaps another crack at the UFC?

The Crow v The Count in Montreal why not..

  • dee says:

he will never be back in the ufc .the crow is a boring fighter.

  • JOHNBOY says:

i wonder if solomon will ever get back in the ufc hahaha wat a jackass that guy was i wonder if him an grove still have that gay dagger thing going on

  • Kris Karkoski says:

@FR702 – There was speculation that if Loiseau won this fight he’d likely go back to the UFC so we’ll see.

  • FR702 says:

@Kris, one, the MW division is owned by Silva, but the potential matchups to see who becomes “#1″ contender is interesting to me; two, like a month ago u said you were going to perhaps tell people the “guidelines” and such did that ever happen I’m not sure I’ve been away pretty much for two weeks… 3, congrats on the site it seems to be taking off at a great rate, still want shirts tho, cheers

  • Kris Karkoski says:

Agreed – No one, including Cote, has proven they’re the top contender in the division in my opinion. Cote was as good a choice as any to fight Silva next but I think there are a lot of intriguing matchups and inputting Loiseau into the mix might make things even more interesting. Right now Marquardt stands out the most but there’s a lot of fight I want to see at 185.

As far as written guidelines go I went back to school and that’s consuming most of my time right now, plus I’m working on some big features. By the end of the month I’ll be rolling out a bunch of new stuff and loose guidlines will be posted then as well.

Working on the shirts. Hoping to have something by October-Novemberish but I’ll keep ya posted.

  • rutdog says:

Is the Brandon Sene that got TKOed the same one as was on TUF? And, i think Louseau should get another crack at UFC MW brass. I mean he lost to Swick and Franklin in the UFC. It’s not like he got KOed by some random nobodies. Maybe there’s more to it, wh he’s not in the UFC now.

  • UK_Chris says:

Hahaha…is that Sol Hutcherson – big mouth, tiny talent from TUF3? Id of thought he’d be back on the counter at a McDonalds drive-thru by now.

  • Kris Karkoski says:

No problem FR702, have a good one!

  • Rhymeskill15 says:

    BRING BACK ROSS POINTON!!!!
    HAHA
THAT GUY IS MY ALL TIME FAV FROM TUF!!!
HE WAS HILARIOUS..COULDN’T REALLY FIGHT BUT HE WAS SOME GREAT TELEVISION!! HAHA

  • UK_Chris says:

Ross Pointon vs Sol Hutcherson…thats the fight we all wanted to see.

Two ‘tough’ guys brawling over a Subway sandwich and a can of beer.

  • KOuch says:

    Kris,

    Ragarding Shirts:

The cheaper they are the more I will buy.

  • JOHNBOY says:

hey rhymeskill15 ross fights at 170 now an looks alot better the guy will never be a champ but hes defo a top contender with more heart then most people i think he would be a good gatekeeper for the ufc

  • Rhymeskill15 says:

    JOHNBOY…
    ARE U FOR REAL????
    OH MAN THATS TIIIGHT…
I WAS ROOTING FOR HIM ON THE SHOW BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS HE WASN’T GOING TO WIN…
WHICH PROMOTION IS HE FIGHTING FOR???
WHERE CAN I CATCH HIS FIGHTS???!?

  • Kris Karkoski says:

    @KOuch – I’ll keep that in mind :)

  • UK_Chris says:

Pointon is fighting for Cage Rage here in the UK (an EliteXC UK promotion). I think his next fight may be for the CR middleweight title.

  • JOHNBOY says:

hes fighting on saturday for cage rage, i think his last fight was for the belt but he got stoped for a cut in a fight he was winning i could be wrong tho i normally am haha

  • UK_Chris says:

JOHNBOY, Pointon won his last fight, it was the one before he got cut.
Lets not forget, Pointon is 2-5 in his last 7 fights. Although he won his last fight by submission. A heel hook no less. Pointon doing something technical (other than technically losing badly). Oh yes…
The best he can get at Cage Rage at 185 is the CR UK title. He can forget about the CR world title. That happens to still belong officially to a certain Mr Anderson Silva, as its a selling point EliteXC dont want to let go, despite the fact he’s with the UFC and will prob never fight for Cage Rage again.

  • JOHNBOY says:

i must of missed his last fight, yeah his record sucks but i feel he can get better he just seems to lose his head alot of the time

  • DolfanG says:

Ross Pointon vs. Anderson Silva for the title. That’s the fight we’re all waiting to see. He’d do at least as well as James Irvin.

  • timcat says:

    Hey KOuch,
Why so cheap? Anyway The Crow would be a good addition to the UFC. God knows they need all the guys in MWT for Silva to destroy that they can get.

  • RICK says:

Im happy the crow won this fight, he’s a true champ at heart, he had some tough time a while back and for some time The Crow was unwatchable, he was slugish and looked like the fighting spirit has left himn behind, but now I believe he’s back and here to stay.
    Good Luck David

  • Fitdaws says:

Lets face it….has “The Crow” really been the same fighter after the loss to Rich Franklin? That was such a battle that I really dont believe The Crow or Franklin, for that matter, have been the same after the beatings they gave each other…..others agree?

  • humanpunchingbag says:

The Crow looked real flat in this fight and at the Hardcore show in Hull. There is no way UFC is gonna have him back looking like this. Brent Beauparlant would be a nice addition. Brandon Sene (yes it was THAT Brandon Sene) punished him mercilessly and Beauparlant still came back and beat him bu KO. The fight they GOTTA make happen in XMMA is Claveau versus CrazyHorse Bennet. And keep an eye out for that Alex Bon-Miller. He’s a nerdy high school teacher who has some of the soundest fundamentals I’ve ever seen on a rookie fighter…
