Will we get to see the fights down here in the US of A?
By the way, War Machine was cut from the UFC. They didn’t like his attitude. They sent Mr. Machine packing. War has landed on his feet with a headline in a smaller show in October. We’ll see if he ever gets asked back to the UFC or not.
I suppose Joe Silva got fed up and finally said, “War… What is he good for? Absolutely nothing…” and then he cut him.
where did u read that war machine got the boot?

Here ya go…
thanx i was lookin all over the place i liked him for the simple fact he was a nutjob and that fight wit jroc was my 2nd fav fight that night wit huerta vs guida numba 1
When I read that article, I kinda got the idea that he didn’t want to take a chance on fighting that guy. Too much chance of not winning it. That would hurt his chances more than beating the guy would help him. But, not taking the fight ended up costng him more than the loss would have. He’s making the most of it. Get some more fights under his belt and get some more experience and be ready in a couple of years to make a run at a title.
Nutjob??? He changed his name to War Machine… I think that quaifies War as being a nutjob!
i totally agree the man is nutty as a bat. hes one of those crazy emo kids that beat on themselves and that made him a character. i do think he was disrespectful to tanner. he shouldve just kept his mouth shut until the facts were out or not make comments which u have no idea if there true. he shouldve been like the rest of us and just paid his respects. DolfanG i got the same impression afta readin that he wasnt willin to take the risk. but he shouldve remembered in the ufc in the ww division hes a tiny fish swimmin wit a bunch of great whites so hes gotta take those chances to get his name out there. o well
As it stands right now, he won’;t have to worry about that for quite a while. If he stays busy and wins some small shows and keeps moving up in the rankings, maybe the UFC will ask him to come back. He’ll probably have to make a trip to Japan in fight the quality of opponents that’ll he’ll need to fight in order to make a good impression on the UFC again.
my keyboard keeps making typing errors… I’m sure it’s not me… it has to be the keyboard.
Did I miss something? Was the article on Strikeforce or a plug for another MMA site? Who cares about Koppenhaver, I refuse to call him War Machine.
timcat, I’m sure Mr. Machine would appreciate your cooperation in this matter. As a matter of fact, I’m sure he wouldn’t even mind if you called him War. We’re all friends here.
