McCrory and Hazelett Agree To UFC 91 Bout
Welterweights Tamdan McCrory (9-1) and Dustin Hazelett have verbally agreed to square off at UFC 91 “Couture vs. Lesnar” on November 15th in Las Vegas.
Sherdog reported the matchup on Monday.
After winning his UFC debut over Pete Spratt, McCrory was dealt his first career loss by Akihiro Gono at UFC 78 in late-2007. “The Barn Cat” rebounded from the defeat with a unanimous decision victory over Luke Cummo in his most recent bout at UFC 87 on August 9th.
Following a loss to Tony DeSouza in his UFC debut Hazelett posted three-straight UFC victories Diego Saraiva, Steven Lynch, and Jonathan Goulet. After dropping a hard-fought bout to Josh Koscheck at UFC 82 in March “McLovin” bounced back with a second-round submission of Josh Burkman at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale in June.
The matchup joins Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar, Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva, and Kenny Florian vs. Joe Stevenson on the rumored UFC 91 lineup.

Hazelett is such a talented technical fighter, he has really surprised me and who knows how good he can get.

It does seem like it will be a great card.
I just want to go to sleep and only wake up on UFC fight nights and PPVs. If another promotion has a good televised card I could wake up for that too. Basically I just want to sleep and watch MMA. I hate sleeping……but the anticipation of some of these cards is killing me.

even though rashad is already fighting for the belt, i’d like to see him vs. machida. a battle of undefeated fighters who are both top contenders. i think that should’ve been the last step for rashad, but no doubt he’s earned it with the KO over chuck.
Machida deserves a shot before Evans IMO . The UFC just thinks griffn vs evans is an easier matchup …. nobody wants to see machida win the belt except the hardcore fans . Otherwise the sheep go with the names rather than the talent and since there’s a big herd these days thats the way they play it out. its not fair but they want the dough ………..
evans is a tool. does anyone remember tito. this ia dana’s way of getting back at tito by having evans fight for the title before machida
Where is Shogun ? Is he still coming back in Dec? I want to see him fight again……. was supposed to be fighting a few different guys but nothing has become solid yet .
