chuck fills seats. it doesnt matter if he wins or loses he is the most recognized mma fighter in the world. he is in a stacked weight class everyone loses. chuck will bounce back. i got faith in the iceman.

Royce Gracie is the BJJ best but he did not stay and dominate so long coz he is one dimensional fighter. He only has BJJ as his weapon. Chuck needs to surprise his opponents like what he did to WAndy in which he uses take downs and whch lead to his win.

Chuck is still good in this game but he is not the same fighter coz of his age. He is not Randy Couture they are totally different fighters but in order for Chuck to stay in the sport and dominate, he needs to train well and be a well rounded fighter. He has jiu jitsu, wrestling and kickboxing and excellent striking but the sport has evolve so fast. He doesnt implement some of his strength thats why he is 1-3.

NSAC or any governing body will not allow it to happen coz of the recent loss of Chuck. A mismatch is widely considered in this one

The suspensions are a pretty normal thing. Many of them can be cleared early with a doctor’s note.

I have a question as well as a few comments. I am new to this site, though not new to MMA. My question is, are the medical suspensions normal, and just not something I’ve seen before, or was this something out of the ordinary for the GAEC to do?

My comments are that Chuck was, and still is a very good fighter. I don’t think that the case is necessarily that Chuck is less good than he has been in the past, its just that his opponents now are better than some of his previous opponents. Also, in the past, Chuck was on another level as far as strikers go, and none of his opponents could even come close to him on the feet(except the first loss to Rampage). Now there are more strikers that if nothing else are as good as him. That means that if they stand and trade its just a matter of who catches who first, or who executes their game plan best.

Thanks KOuch, I admit i’ve only seen clips on Spider before UFC, but I can tell he’s pretty good on the ground, now if he’s great like you say, i might have to change my opinion and say he could dominate LHW!. I would like to see his fight Against Lee Murray, I’m gonna go look that up now.
