I just read else where that Evans has officially been given the first shot at Forrest for the title. Sorry if was previously posted….I missed it.
Is the injury report on Chuck going to include his bruised ego and broken spirit?
TMoney,
That is not nice. Mr. Liddell is a legend and has been great to the fans. I know if I posted that, Kris would have it gone within 30seconds.
I like Chuck and I was rooting for him in this fight. I almost always root for him but did you see the way he was moping in that video. I’ll be pulling for him next fight but I don’t know if he still has the right mentality.
I think he looked past Rashad and he is kicking himself for it.He’s got some fights left in him…he just need to not worry about everything else just his game.
He didn’t look past Evans, he was just caught with the best punch of the year. Evans worked his game plan to perfection.
Oh by the way does anyone still think Couture is the best trainer there is? Ask Kampmann what Nate “the great” Marquardt’s power is all about.
Greg Jackson all the way.
Tmoney
That’s not cool to say about a humble, great fighter like Liddell. You must be a fool.
Anything can happen and does… its just most people (pros included ) felt this was a cake walk.It wasn’t… Rashad is a tricky fighter to prepare for and a man that down on himself never fathomed being there.
Liddell was looking past this fight right at Forrest Griffin. he thought Rashad would pull an Irvin and drop to the mat after one punch. He didn’t prepare for this fight mentally. I bet he won’t make the same mistake in his next fight? And about the mopeing around after the fight… he just got KO’d and knocked out of contention for a championship bout. Aside from the pain he was in and the headache he must have had, he must have had a lot of regrets and what ifs going through his head. Cut the guy just a little bit of slack… I thought he had a lot of class to be at the podium and willing to answer the questions that he knew were going to come…
Well said dolfang…Offline till Thursday….
