I don’t think the Chuck to Randy comparison is all that fair. Lets see Randy against Fedor-Brock-Nogueira-and Mir.If Randy goes 1-4 against all them or better then Chuck is second Banana or fiddle or whatever.
Chuck lost to Jardine (who beat the champ)
Rampage(Who was a champ)
and Evans(still undefeated)
and he blasted Wanderlei(Former Pride God)
Tough Run for anyone…

If Lesnar does beat Couture then the old guard will be completely gone and a whole new group will be in charge of the ranks of the UFC. I think Ortiz will have a valid shot at Evans if he comes back and beats somebody. He would have beaten Evans the first time he he didn’t get penalized for grabing the fence. As it was the had a draw. Now the only blemish on Evan’s record is that draw. Of course, Evans still has Griffin in the way of his actual title.

Just a couple of years ago, the big dogs in the UFC were Ortiz, Liddell, Couture and Hughes. Look at the landscape now… Silva, Penn, Pierre, and Evans. We’ll have to wait and see who the best heavyweight is.
