this has absolutely everything to do with Elite XC and Affliction circling like sharks for anybody who ever fought in the UFC to give them credibility and a fan base. Outside of the fact that Houston is a celebrity in Omaha in many many circles being a radio dj and being so involved in the community. Great move for all parties involved, if Elite XC and Affliction can last long enough he will see a couple more checks after that so all you haters and keep doin what you been doin which is nothing in particular while guys like Houston do it big. It’s cool you get to watch it. If I were you, I’d get one of those fancy ripoff phones where you can watch the event on the phone. Sure a 2″x4″ screen is a very funny joke but to me it would be better than missing the event. Be safe.

Dietrich, thz also I would like to say that it seems that Houston has to get hit before something “clicks” on in his head (Irvin jokes aside) think about when he fought Jardine, he rocked Alexander the got destroyed himself Sakara fight same thing…. If Alexander get hit (and doesn’t get ko’d) he seems to just go nuts and realizes that he has to finish the fight..

*side note*…… I’m in Oklahoma (which ya sucks) and I was kinda pissed that I wasn’t going to be able to find a place to watch the fight tonight (my hotel has HBO and Comedy Centeral, local channels.. Again this place sucks) in trying to find a decent place to eat last night I “stumbled” apawn a little Cafe or whatever and noticed a sign that stated that they were going to show the UFC fight for free no cover no minimum to drink (even tho its 3/2 beer) soo though its a bs little town I get to watch the UFC and not have to check my phone for constant updates

Houston should drop to LW or move to the WEC and be a FW…. At the same time Tyson Griffin should move up to LHW or HW.

In all seriousness I think Houston has a great chance to get back on track. He fights like a demoltion man, warrior maniac killer. Like Cole said above, we(fans) always know someone is getting KO or F-d up in an Alexander fight. That is what fans want. Fighters have ups and downs all the time. I forget which fighter specifically, but he is in the UFC and started his career out with 5-7 straight losses.(wish I remembered who) In any case, I feel Alexander is not far off from being more dangerous than he has been in the past. Should Alexander start utilizing wrestling or develop a little bit of a ground game he is going to become a very dangerous fighter. His striking is great…..he just needs to slow down and not get too excited like he did in his last 8 second match. Houston is a powerhouse….just a matter of how he goes about training and who he trains with now. To me, Houston is underrated and I am not even a fan of his.
