I’m sure Dana’s job is tiring and overly stressful at times but other than that it looks like a lot of fun. I would be willing to let any one of the UFC fighters kick the ever living **** out of me for a job with the UFC. I don’t care if I started out as a janitor with a broken ribs, nose and eye socket…..I’d work my way up. It’s nice to see Randy all happy….especially next to Dana. To me, it shows how much of a b!tch Tito really is!

On a related note (so that this isn’t too offtopic)… Why exactly does everyone hate Dana White? He seems like a guy I’d grab a beer with. He clearly has a good business head. He clearly knows a little something about MMA….
So what precisely is to hate? IS it all because he genuinely believes he presents the best product?
Dana did seem to be losing it for a bit and the Randy thing certainly didn’t help. There are still persistent complaints about oppressive contracts and poor treatment of fighters, so when that gets taken care of he will be square in my books again.
These vid blogs are a great addition to the site.
what a cool kick ass job dana has, i mean he must have to do some boreing paper work now and again but man he gets about, i walked my dog round the local park 2day thats about as intresting it gets for me but dana flys to new york then atlanta then vegas and thats all b4 lunch haha, ide also take a beating to do sh!t like this but unlike KOuch ide throw at least one punch b4 i get knocked out so that makes me higher in the food chain lol

Well, this kind of crap is pretty pointless but funny as sh** nonetheless. I enjoyed it. Interesting to watch a bunch of great fighters just hang out that aren’t in the TUF house.
i dont like vera everyone thinks hes so good like saying having the ko power of a HW the speed agilaty of LW the athleticism of a WW ha y didnt he just win every fight y isnt undefeated y didnt he do very good a LHW so in my book he never even gonna be champ and i dont like dana i think hes an ok guy but i just dont really get this blog videos

i could see why alot of people thought dana was a prick, and i’m sure behind closed doors he can be tough to work with. but that’s negotiations for you, it’s not a friendly environment. i’ve spoken to people that work directly with dana and the fertida’s and he said they were all super cool guys, way down to earth and fun to work with so i’m sure alot of it is just that he wants a certain image due to the fact that he’s the face of a fight promotion. on a side note, where do i sign up to get my ass kicked too? i’ll even take a kick to the balls if my paycheck starts coming from zuffa.
I agree with that Kouch> I am always shocked Zuffa isn’t listed as one of the great companies to work for in the business mags.

The funny thing is I was thinking just the opposite… Why does everybody LOVE Dana White so much? The UFC is making MILLIONS of dollars and Dana owns 10% of the company. He’s making a ton of money, but the fighters, for the most part, don’t make squat. They fight maybe 4 times a year and make maybe $5000. For what they do, that ain’t much money. I hate to see a guy or guys getting so rich while other guys are struggling to get by when there’s really plenty of money to go around… I know… I know… win more and you make more, but the guy from the other corner wants to win more too. It’s tough when there is money available and they still can’t get paid.

DolfanG is right! I too don’t hate Dana. I hate the way they pay their fighters. I understand they are in business to make money, I get that, but how much do you really need. Share some of the wealth.

Dana White started a company very few thought would succeed. In doing so, he signed fighters to exclusive, and long term contracts. There are two sides to this story — Dana’s — he was taking a big risk and signed good fighters for what is now seen as minimum wage — The Fighters — MMA and UFC has taken off, Dana is making a lot of money, SHOW ME THE MONEY. You can make a argument for either side.

your wrong, Dana didn’t start the UFC, the Gracie family did along with Bob Meyerwitz.
There are two sides of it an no the fighters don’t make huge bank but from the management side,1 year with Zuffa is better than an Ivy league MBA.
