I’m not the biggest KJ Noons fight but I am with him on this. It is a little funny how he has been a relative ‘nobody’ considering how entertaining his wins have been… I hope he gets a better deal…

Dr. Doom, right… my point was that people are talking about Alverez being too strong for Penn. Sherk is all muscle and he had no chance at all. Penn has stand up and knock out power. Sherk wanted to wrestle and couldn’t because Penn wanted to keep it standing. Pulver wanted to keep it standing and couldn’t because Penn wanted to take it to the mat. Alverez is a fantastic fighter, but he cannot beat Penn either standing up or on the mat because Penn will dictate where the fight will happen. It would be an interesting fight to watch, but I still think Penn is unbeatable at 155.

I agree with you on the point that Bj does have some standup ability .. no doubt but sherk was a strong wrestler where as alvarez has FAST hands and uses a good awray of combo’s .His main weapon is his hands and yet he does have a decent ground game . obviously not the BJ level but good enough to work with .Sherk wanted to wrestle and he got out classed in the process . Alvarez will come out swinging and wont even think about ground work until BJ falls down from a wicked upper cut or a quick left/right .Either way i’d watch ……… . world class for sure

One more note about BJ Penn, everybody thinks about his work on the mat, but don’t under estimate his stand up. I’m sure Sean Sherk won’t if he gets another shot. Everybody thought Sherk was too strong and his stand yp was too good for Penn, but how did that end up? BJ Penn is unbeatable at 155. If he stayed at that weight I would like to see him fight Shinya Aoki. If it went to the mat, that would be interesting, but if it stayed standing up, Penn would knock him out. Either way, Aoki would end up in tears sitting in the middle of the ring.

KJ you are definitely ducking Diaz. If you are a true champion, beat Diaz via submission, tko, ko, or by judges, not from a doctor stoppage.

The only reason MMA fans believe you are ducking him, is because you are. I believe you are a champion, but you need to cement this win. If you don’t then everyone will think you got lucky.
Money or not, be a man of principle.
