UFC 68: Fighter Salaries Released

This post has all of the fighter salaries from this past weekends UFC 68 event in Columbus, Ohio. The amounts were released by the Ohio Athletic Commission earlier today and include only base salaries and win bonuses. These do not include other bonuses the UFC pays for special awards or the percentages some fighters earn for PPV sales or total gate of the event.

Randy Couture def. Tim Sylvia

  • Randy Couture – $250,000
  • Tim Sylvia – $100,000

Martin Kampmann def. Drew McFedries

  • Martin Kampmann – $20,000
  • Drew McFedries – $5,000

Rich Franklin def. Jason MacDonald

  • Rich Franklin – $42,000
  • Jason MacDonald – $14,000

Matt Hughes def. Chris Lytle

  • Matt Hughes – $150,000
  • Chris Lytle – $10,000

Jason Lambert def. Renato “Babalu� Sobral

  • Jason Lambert – $18,000
  • Renato Sobral – $ 21,000

Matt Hamill def. Rex Holman

  • Matt Hamill – $10,000
  • Rex Holman – $3,000

Jon Fitch def. Luigi Fioravanti

    you need to pay them more. at least 5 to 10 grand per under card. 3 grand is a horrible payout.

    I agree Dan. Fighter payouts are one of the biggest so-called “flaws” in the sport but they are sure to rise. I am sure the UFC will treat their fighters will.

    Also it should be noted these do not include sponsors payments and other bonuses so that 3,000 is in all likelihood much more. Undercard fighters might not be getting right but they are earning more than these numbers reflect.
