TUF 5 Finale: Noah Thomas vs. Marlon Sims to Open Live Broadcast
In a rematch of last weeks unsanctioned brawl on the Ultimate Fighter 5, Spike TV has announced Noah Thomas and Marlon Sims will square off inside the octagon on the live portion of The Ultimate Fighter 5 finale. The bout will start the live broadcast which will begin at 9:00 on Spike on June 23rd.
Last week Thomas and Sims got into an alcohol fueled debate over tapping out before Sims flipped Noah out of his chair starting a fight that ended with Noah being slammed into concrete. Dana White responded by sending the pair, along with instigator Alan Berubie, home from the house after all had been priorly eliminates from the competition.
Sims brings a 3-1 professional MMA record into the match including back-to-back sub 30-second wins in September of 2006. Thomas has a 10-4 MMA record winning his last 4 straight fights in the first round, 3 with submissions.
Berubie also stated this past week that he will be fighting on the non-televised portion of the event. His opponent is not known.

Is this a surprize to anyone?
Of course, I still want to see it. My money is on Noah.
I don’t think it really surprised anyone because the UFC and Spike ultimately care about ratings but a lot of people think it’s hypocritical to boot them off in the way they were and then reward it with a televised match.
I will be watched most definately. I like Noah too he is more well rounded than Sims.
well as far as them getting a fight jus proves one thing…its human cock-fighting and i’ve never been one to narc this fair sport but what they did shouldnt be rewarded the way dana and spike want to do it…but i agree…..noah will win and i bet yah all its gonna be an arm-bar too hahahahahaha
peace ya’ll
I want to see Noah put Marlon Sims into an armbar and see if Sims “taps out”, becuse he said he never taped out, and never will. It would be funny. But I also want to see a knockout, and Marlon is a straight stand up fighter, and has a possibility to knock out Noah.
I think most fans would have to be rooting for Sims to tap. It would just be a great piece of TV.
